Be you ever so quick, with vision keen, by your eyes, we are never seen. Unless perchance it should come to pass, you see our reflection in a looking glass. What are we?

Hint every one has them

Your face.
Your answer was incorrect, so my riddle still stands.

In 1982 John is 12 years old. In 1987 John is seven years old. How can that be? And the hint is his name probably wasn't John.

OH. In 1987, he's 7. Five years later, in the 1982, he's 12. The answer is that this was in the BC, not the AD.

Correct. It is also called BCE.

Imagine you have in front of you two cardboard cubes. They can be any size. You also have a magic marker. There's nothing written on these cubes -- yet. You're going to write something on them with the magic marker. You'd like to use these cubes to represent the date. For example, if today is the 3rd of the month, the two cubes would be next to each other and one would have a zero and the other would have a three. If it was the 22nd, it would be a two and a two.

You've got six sides on each cube, and with those six sides you need to be able to represent every single date.

Cube one has these numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Cube two has these numbers: 0, 1, 2, 6, 7, 8.

And this assumes that you can rotate the 6 to be a 9.

correct.

In the beginning of the first World War, the uniform of the British soldiers included a brown cloth cap. They were not provided with metal helmets. As the war went on, the Army authorities in the war office became alarmed at the high proportion of men suffering head injuries.
They, therefore, decided to replace the cloth head gear with metal helmets. From then on, all solders wore the metal helmets. However, you ready for this? The war office was amazed to discover that there were more soldiers hospitalized with head injuries than ever before. It can be assumed that the intensity of fighting was the same before and after the change. So, why should the recorded number of head injuries, why should the number of soldiers hospitalized for head injuries per battalion, increase when the men were wearing metal helmets rather than cloth?

When they got shot and hit the ground, the metal helmet would inflict more damage to the head than a soft cloth.

I'll post it again.

the world war soldiers had more head injuries because less of them we're dieing. With the cloth caps, they were dead once they we're hit. With the metal, it banged against your head and injured you, but you didn't die.

Correct.

In the early '60s NASA was sending electronic gear into outer space
on unmanned missions. They'd already sent a guy into space but they
wanted to make sure that if they were going to send people up for
longer flights, that they had a chance of surviving. They were
sending this electronic gear up to test a variety of things like
radiation exposure, and so on. The equipment kept failing, but they couldn't figure out why. Finally, someone determined that the circuits were overheating, so they installed a fan to cool off the devices.
But the problems persisted. Why?

hint????

I would have to guess in the 60's there were a lot of solar flares which fried the electronics. Either that or they passed too close to the sun/a star and burned up.

No, there were no more solar flares in the 60's than there are now and I believe most of these flights were not that far from earth.
