Her eyes glanced at her friends as she began to walk away from them in order to go to her locker. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak.  The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini breathed an exaggerated sigh of relief. "That's good to know. It's been quiet these days. Hey, did you know Raevyn's gone missing too? He hasn't been in class either." She said curiously, grabbing her notebook absently and closing her locker to follow Ashriel. "The only time I've seen him recently was when he made you go home. That was weird by the way." The girl chattered insistently, giving new meaning to the term 'motormouth'.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini shrugged. "I dunno. It was just an observation." She said easily. "I mean, it was weird. You get sick and Raevyn disappeared." She fell silent, musing on that thought for a minute. Then she shrugged and moved on. "Anyways, I know you can't really read my notes, but if you want to know anything you missed in class you can certainly just ask." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I figured as much." Lixini chirped. "You're smart enough to understand it anyways. I just figured I'd offer." She shrugged and took her seat beside the other girl. She totally missed Ashriel's glance at Raevyn.
Raevyn though, felt her eyes on him. He twisted slightly in his seat to grin at her briefly before turning to face the front again.

Ashriel watched as class started, relieved to see that she really hadn't missed anything. In fact, as they went through the day, she didn't miss anything really. Lunch seemed to come quickly, which resulted in her realizing that she hadn't packed herself one. Lovely. Going to her locker, she lingered there as if she had one, hoping to sneak out of it. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, passing by, sighed as he saw her lingering at her locker. He could tell just from the look on her face that she'd forgotten lunch. Glancing around to make sure Lixini and Jennalin had already left for the lunchroom, he sauntered closer to her. "Here." He said pulling a bag out of his pack. "I picked up something from Sanctuary on my way here. Enjoy." He said, handing her the lunch he'd brought for himself. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel said, taking the lunch quietly. Before, she could have quarreled with him for the entire lunch period. Now...something had changed. Perhaps just slightly. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's grin widened as she didn't fight him. "Good girl. Can't have you fainting from hunger at your interview. I'll see you in class." He said, ruffling her hair playfully before taking off. He shoved his backpack in his locker then headed outside. He found a quiet corner to shift forms. It was only moments later that a black cat could be seen out on the school lawns, hunting gophers. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She sat down quietly next to Jennalin and Lixini, Jen nodding as she did so. Somehow, she knew what had just happened. Perhaps that energy was starting to make her a better psychic? Either way, neither Ash nor Jen said anything as Ash sat down and began eating. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini didn't seem to stop talking, even to eat. Somehow, she'd managed to perfect the skill of eating and talking without garbling her words. She wasn't really saying anything despite all her talking and she wasn't really expecting anything more than the odd nod in response. She just liked talking, rambling from subject to subject. She managed to completely miss the small exchange between Ashriel and Jennalin, too busy talking about how happy she was to have Ash back in school and how weird it was without her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded occasionally as response to Lixini, finishing the food relatively quickly. Well, it was pretty good. She got up and threw it away, leaving the lunch room.
