The droid activates it's radar to try to track the woman down. It can not make sense of it's readings. She wasn't that large, was she? The droid tosses a thermal detonator at the mass.

The readings are off the chart! The mass had separated into multiple charring parts. The droid zeroed in on the largest reading and shot it's blaster in it's direction.

The girl caught wise to the droid's movements and prevented it from making the improvements. Frustrated, the droid tried to start from scratch by putting the girl's hand through it's woodchipper attachment.
