My ultimate #1 is mega-sensation, moe mecca, needs-no-explanation-for-why-I-love-it; Lucky Star. Konata...is my waifu. >.<
#2 is CANAAN. Discovered it when I stumbled across the title character's 1/8 scale PVC figurine by Good Smile; it totally blew my mind. If a model like that can be made of it, the anime can't be all bad, right? So I checked it out. Before I even finished the anime (Straight marathon except for last two episodes because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep after what I knew was going to be an epic finale.) I had gotten me awesome mother to pre-order the figure ($105) for my sole birthday present. XD So, easy to say; the anime exceeded the figurine. Recently received my order of the OST from CDJapan ($60); three discs, 101 tracks. Holy damn it's incredible. Augh.
Those are the only two animes I've watched that have really impressed me. Well--no, I've been impressed many, many times, but as far as favorites go...yeah. On my scale, LS is 10/10. CANAAN is actually 9/10. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya also earned a 9 with me, but it still doesn't constitute as a favorite; sure you all know what I'm talking about. Just by things that have impressed me... So Ra No Wo To. That impressed me; 8.5/10 on the scale. Naruto was impressive; 6.5/10.
