Ashriel bought the small amount of groceries that she could afford and headed home, singing to herself on her way. When she came back, she quickly unlocked the door, closing it after her. She set the groceries on the counter before going to lock the door.

"Sorry, it isn't my fault I'm broke!" Ashriel spoke carefully to him, putting away the small amount of groceries. She was actually trying to work a single part-time job to afford everything, and she was having a hard time of it. "You try having your parents kick you out the day you turn eighteen, without them giving you a single cent to start of off."

"Sorry." Ashriel said quietly, turning to go into the living room. She sat on the sofa, looking around her apartment. Her eyes examined the walls, as she thought about how much money she currently had. Either way, it wasn't enough. Sighing, she looked over to where Raevyn was. "By the sound of it, you have to handle money...are you like one of those were-wolf thingies they talk about in books? Only a cat?"

Ashriel rolled her eyes at the answer. He'd only said he wasn't like the books- "But are you like a cat version of a were-wolf?" She asked, trying to get a straight answer out of him. It was apparent that it was starting to bother her slightly, not really knowing what he was.

Ashriel glared at him for a moment. First she asked the primary question that she had already sort of asked two times now. "Are you...a were-cat?" She asked, then moved on to her other question. "Were-wolves- were they what hurt you so bad?"

Ashriel couldn't help but cringe at his answer to the second question. However, she had noted that he skipped the first question. "Okay, you answered my second question. Now how about you answer my first one. Are you a were-cat?" She repeated herself, looking straight at him. The girl was taking his ignoring the question as a 'yes', but she very much wanted it confirmed.

"Yes, yes it does. I'm sorry, but I'm stubborn, I like to find out what I want to know." She couldn't help but think his human form was cute, though. Still, Ashriel looked at Raevyn carefully. She'd noticed the grimace before he slipped back into cat form, and she realized that it was more than likely hard for him to take human form while he was injured. Getting up, she moved into the kitchen, grabbing a pot. She poured the contents of a can of soup into the pot, and then she measured out a can of milk to add. Cooking it, she thought carefully. "Aren't you in my class?" It was a sudden realization, really. She'd paid no mind to him before now.
