Amber just stared at the young girl before the little boy in her arms before looking up to the old man when he ask how everyone basically was. The little boy just stared, sucking on one thumb before using his other hand, giving the guy four fingers before snuggling his head into Amber's chest, freaking her out a little. Amber coughed, trying to speak. "We're good." She sat up to fix her posture, but as soon as she did, the blood rushed to her head, causing a little spazz in her head. She shook it off and coughed to clear her throat, or at least tried to.

Veronica looked to see if anyone was there with her. She noticed she wasn't alone. The others that went overboard were nearby. She laid back on her back. She was staring at the sky. Because she was exhausted she had a hard time thinking. Aside how glad she was she was alive.

Sara noticed the others, the girl who had tried to save her, a group on a boat, and another laying on the sand. They survived as well. She looked in desperation across the beach, if this many survived what about her parents? She saw nothing. Her spirit was dampened but she forced herself not to give up hope. She unbuttoned her life jacket and flung it onto the beach, panting. Her body was so tired just from trying to keep her head above water, not to mention it hurt from being pushed and pulled around.
"We survived." She whispered to herself softly, her voice hoarse. "We survived."

Leo awoke face down in the sand, waves beating up to his feet. Scattered pieces of wood around him. He tried to think to clear the fog from his mind. Last he remembered he was cutting through the rope that held the life-boat... ah that was his mistake, panicked and scared he, and everyone else in the boat seemed to have forgotten that the life boat had to be lowered then released. When he got through the rope the boat dropped and didn't remain right side up. With the waves crashing the life boat was slammed against the cruise liner and they were all dumped into the ocean. From there is it was black but where was Leo now?
Obviously on a beach, once Leo managed to start thinking. But where in the vast seas? Was he alone here? Did anyone else make it to land? All the questions swirled in Leo's head and he needed to find answers. Try to stand up was difficult, so he settled for sitting. Looking up and down the beach he saw more floating wood, probably his life boat, and shapes moving very far down the beach. Survivors? Once Leo felt up to it he would find out.

Veronica turned her head when she heard someone speaking. She slowly sat up. Her head was still buzzing. Slowly she managed to get to her feet, but due to her poor balance she fell back on her butt. At least the sand is soft. She'd have to get out of these wet clothes soon.
She stripped out of from her life vest, and her wet clothes, and within minutes donned a two piece swim suit. It was plain, and black. But at least she wasn't weighted down by drenched clothing. She got to her feet before taking a look around.

Amber pulled the boy off of her, no matter how hard he clung onto her and setting her outside of the boat, on the sand, which should be fine with his little booties on his feet anyways. She stood up, trying to keep her legs from wobbling as she stepped, or more like tripped, out of the boat onto the hot sand, making her wince to the scorching particles that began to cling onto her skin. She stood up, brushing it off as the little boy, in a dried and crispy shirt and short just stood there innocently staring at her with a hand in his mouth before pulling out both hands to be picked up. "What? It's not like you're a baby anymore." Amber held her hips as she stared down at him, watching him shake his head and urged to be picked up. She sighed before unbuckling their life jackets and picking him up. She looked back into the boat and held her hand to the young girl in there, looking kind of alone. Well, she practically was. "Here, let me help you."

Veronica after changing her clothes slowly make her way to the other two she'd seen after she'd fallen off of the ship. Because her body was sore she sat down shorly after she make it to them. True it was best to get to the shade, but her body was in so much pain... well, not pain, but it did kinda hurt to move. She pulled out a couple bottles of water, and offered them to the two girls. Right now she was glad she developed a habit of carrying a survival pack everywhere.

Michael's eyes slowly peeled open, slamming back shut almost instantly as the diabolical rays of the sun hit them. The few things he could tell in the time his eyes were closed were: 1. he was outside, 2. he was damp, and 3. he was lying on something VERY uncomfortable. He struggled to remember what had happened the night before. All hopes of "i got drunk and passed out" vanished as he finally opened his eyes, and his memory hit him like a ton of bricks. The ship had hit a storm. he remembered an evac being called, and he remembered getting a life jacket. After that... he remembered... his heart sank. He'd fallen off the ship. As he glanced around, it was quite clear what had happened after that. he must've blacked out and washed ashore on some beach... somewhere...
He attempted to sit up, but as his senses came back to him, he became brutally aware of a few additional things. He was physically exhausted, or, hopefully, just stiff and sore from the ocean. It would take a little effort to get himself up. Secondly, he was on some sort of harder surface. Not the sand that covered most of the beach. He must've ended up on some sort of stone surface slightly raised from the sand. Landing there probably made his condition a bit worse. He took one deep breath of the salty air, and forced himself upright, much to the dismay of his sore limbs. He had to keep his arms behind him, at least for the moment, to prop himself up, as he looked around. He must have been there for at least a little while. His clothes, though a touch wet, were rather dry for having been in the ocean for the past couple hours. Unsure why, he spoke aloud to himself. "Well... this is fantastic..." He stayed seated, trying to think of what his next move should be, the possible consequences of his choices, and backup plans. Though this was a normal sort of thinking for him, it seemed silly to be overanalyzing the current situation. He was a business man. Not a tribesman.

Veronica merely nodded before getting back to her feet. "Yeah, it would be bad to get burned so soon" she was before slowly walking to the shade of the nearest tree, and sat back down. Her skin was slightly more tan than normal which made all the thin white scars on her right arm stand out even more than normal. Right now she didn't seem to normal. What she did notice is that her skin felt a little unconfortible.
She wondered for a moment if there was a fresh water source, or a food source. Well, there might be wild animals so meat might not be a big issue. But what about vegetation? Sure she did have seeds, but they might take a while to grow if at all. She took her phone from her backpack. It was busted, and useless. But then again even if the salt water didn't ruin it the phone might have been useless to begin with.
When Veronica looked up she noticed there were coconuts. She made a face seeing that. She wasn't exactly fond to coconuts. But then again in this situation it would be better than nothing. Especially when her rations run dry. After two weeks she'd be screwed.
"Oh, anyway. My name is Veronica Owen" she said in a pretty weak voice. She figured it'd be best they'd know each others names if they were stranded together. She was pretty glad to be alive, and not be alone either.

Veronica smiled lightly, "Nice to meet you" she said lightly. "Its kinda funny. All this time I've been carrying this backpack.... my survival kit... I've always thought I'd never need it. But I'd still take it anyway.... But now I'm in this situation I'm glad I have it..." she said barely managing to smile about it. "Oh, I'm from Wisconsin... not like it matters at this point"
