Cookie Masterson: Well, in Game 2 we're going to be playing an all time favorite, the game where spinning and solving the puzzle can make your dreams come true. And, it's been a family fun show for generations. Mr. Narrator, tell us more about it! Cookie said to the viewers
The Monitor shows footage of Wheel of Fortune from 1975 to the Present. *Wheel of Fortune History* Narrator: Quite... Known as "America's Game", its a show the whole family have always enjoyed with lots of fun and surprises. "Wheel of Fortune" began as a Daytime Game in 1975 on NBC & CBS Networks with Chuck Woolery as the Original Host. The player would spin the wheel and try to call a letter that could be in the puzzle worth some money. But if a player misses a letter, the turn would go to the next player. Then, the player gets a chance to solve whenever he or she knows it. Then, it was on to the shopping experience where they could take home the prizes. And, when time was running out, the host would give the wheel a Final Spin in the Speed Up Round. At the end of the game, the player would be the champion. In 1981, 6 years later, Pat Sajak joined the "Wheel" family as the new host with his witty style. Then, there was the bonus round where a player could win something big by solving the bonus puzzle. If the player is successful, he or she wins. But if not, at least the player learned to have fun and did their best. By 1982, a year later after Sajak became the Host, Vanna White made her big debut in 1982 and the first letter she turned was a "T" and history was made. Then, on September 5, 1983, the show came into Syndication on Networks such as ABC and it was more fun on nighttime like on daytime. The daytime version ended in 1991, but the syndicated version continued strong to this day. Over the years, the puzzleboard and the sets change and so did the hosts, but the game still remained the same and it has been most popular since syndication. There were funny moments, but also winning moments. "Wheel of Fortune" has been an American tradition and a true game treasure for over 40 years and if there's one thing we've learned, it's a fortunate experience for fans everywhere. Today, we go back in time to the 1990s & play Wheel of Fortune Daytime!

The Game is played with 3 Players as they take turns solving a missing letter puzzle. The only hint that's given is a description of what the puzzle contains (such as a person, place or thing and so on.) When its a player's turn they have 3 options: Spin the Wheel, Buy a Vowel or Solve the Puzzle.
After spinning the wheel, it'll land on a space with a value on it, showing how much each letter is worth. The player then guesses a letter and if any are present, they will be shown and money is awarded for each one then the player gets another turn. However, if a letter is not present, that player's turn ends and gameplay proceeds to the next player.
Because of how common vowels are in puzzles, they CAN'T be spun to be revealed, the player needs to buy them, each vowel costs $250 from the current round's earnings & a player can't buy a vowel until they guess at least one consonant successfully & it must be enough to reach the $250 cost, if a player attempts to buy a vowel and again, none are present, that player's turn ends.
If the player know what's on the board and think that the player has earned enough money to end the round, they can solve the puzzle. If the solution is wrong, that player loses his or her turn. But if the solution is correct, the round ends & all the money along with prize wedges' totals obtained in the round goes into that player's total earnings which determine who becomes champion and advances to the Bonus Round once all Rounds (Speed Up Included) are played. One thing to note is no matter how much money the player ends with, there is a minimum round earnings of $250 for the winner of the round. So if a player finishes a round and is under $250 after solving the puzzle, that player's score will be brought up to $250.
It's also worth noting that some puzzles may contain a bonus cash prize for identifying the source of the description.
