Apparently "Bride and Prejudice" is Austen's Pride and Prejudice getting a Bollywood treatment.
From the trailer I watched it looks very interesting.

Hmm... just found "Mansfield Park" (1999) on YouTube. I might start watching it after I'm done watching Ellen.

Change of plans... going to watch "Persuasion" instead, since that's the other book we're reading in my class besides P&P.

Just finished watching "Persuasion" (1995).
It was pretty good, though not as good as "Pride and Prejudice" (1995). The storyline of the movie seemed to go all over the place... and it was hard to keep track of what was going on and what not. *shrugs* But it's a move adaptation of one of Austen's works... so I should be happy about being able to see the movie.
And I'm sure as soon as I read the book, I'll get a better idea of what all happens.

And I just ran across "Pride and Prejudice" (2005)... the Keira Knightley version.
I'll probably watch that tomorrow since it's almost dinnertime... and the movie is about 2 hours long, it looks like.

It'll be nice to see this version, since I've seen the Colin Firth version before. And those two versions of P&P are the most famously known.
Yeah... there's been countless other versions - much older than the Colin Firth version.

Keira Knightley's accent she uses was perfect for POTC... but I think it doesn't fit the Regency era very well for P&P.
But that's just me...
