 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn went bug-eyed with surprise but had himself under control quickly. He ran one hand through his hair and nodded. "Yeah. We were trying to decide how to tell you." He said, going with the lie. It was the easiest thing right now and the best explanation.
Lixini squealed happily. "No way! Why didn't you tell me? When did this happen? How did this happen? I've barely even seen you two talking!" She hugged Ashriel again. "Oh I'm so happy you've finally found someone for yourself!"  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel let Lixini ramble; it meant she wouldn't have to explain herself yet. Jen was looking down at her phone, typing something in.
"Lix, aren't you supposed to sit tonight?" Jennalin asked Lixini, mostly to get her out of Ash's apartment. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. [ I ] { A } m that quietly loud person that seems to be able to be both at the same time. [ I ] { A } m not ready for this

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((That's fine. I was about to head to bed myself.))
Lixini gasped as Jen reminded. "Oh no! I was supposed to be there already!" She cried, whirling to run out of the apartment. She returned only a second later to hug Ashriel once more. "I really am happy for you. Sorry but I gotta fly!" She raced out once more. Her voice could be heard echoing down the hall. "I'm late, I'm late. For a very important date! Hehe! I sound like the white rabbit."
It wasn't until he heard her footsteps finally fade away that Raevyn relaxed. "Gods that girl is scary. She has the worst timing every." He muttered to himself, collapsing onto the couch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She turned to look at Jennalin curiously. "How long were you out there, anyways?"
"Eh, never really left. But Lix showed up...I tried to stop her...but..." Jennalin shrugged. Yeah, Jen had been on the phone with Raevyn right when Lixini decided she was going to check on Ashriel.
Ash looked at Raevyn softly. Well, apparently Lix thought they were dating. At least that would make it so that they didn't need any more excuses. Yeah. This was a good thing. Wasn't it a good thing? "Only slightly scary...dunno how she always shows up right when we are talking about things she doesn't need to know about."
"It's more her trying to do something...without planning ahead. I'm trying to get her back on schedule. Which reminds me...I'd better go and make sure she'd didn't stop at an ice cream stand. Good luck putting on appearances." Jennalin winked before walking off, breaking into a run to keep up with Lixini. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed as Jen left. Only once she was gone did he turn to Ashriel, glaring at her. "Dating? Seriously, dating? Of all the excuses, you let her use that one?!" He couldn't believe it. And knowing Lixini, it would be all over school tomorrow. Which meant he would have to actually be sociable at school. He groaned, leaning back against the couch. "Oh man.....Dating......" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Thinking for a moment, she spoke in combat to him. "I don't suppose YOU had another excuse." Her eyes glanced about, realizing what else that meant. "Shoot. No more invisible." She moved over to the table, going back to eating. She didn't care that her food was already cold - she was frustrated and hungry. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. "I don't know, anything but dating. I work as a maintenance man as a part-time job? I don't know." He growled in frustration. The tiger that should be....isn't....

There really wasn't another excuse that would explain dinner for two, genius." Ashriel said, eating her food quickly. Finishing, she washed and put away her dish, retreating to the bedroom. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blushed as he realized he'd forgotten about the food on the table. He sighed and rose from the couch, going to the kitchen. He busied himself for a few minutes by putting stuff away. He washed the dished, humming quietly. It felt good to be back, slipping back into the familiar routine. When the dishes and food were all put away, he walked to the bedroom door, knocking on it lightly. "Hey Ash. Am I allowed in? Or are you changing or something?" He called, hoping she wasn't going to make him sleep on the couch for what he'd done. Well, at least the couch would be more comfortable than the roof...... The tiger that should be....isn't....

Her eyes darted to the door, but she didn't move an inch herself. Perhaps her second guesses were right - he couldn't seem to see the positivity in what had just happened. Really, she did like him. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn breathed a sigh of relief and opened the door, entering. He headed for the bed, then remembered his stuff wasn't there. He did and about face and began digging in her closet, searching for his stuff. He'd thought he'd hid it pretty well, so it should still have been there. This was Ashriel though, so he mentally tallied everything as he pulled it out. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Try the laundry area. You bed stank." So she had left the apartment once the night before - to dump all of his things in the laundry room. She had, at first, attempted to sort her closet to distract her, causing her to find the bed and other things. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. "And I was going to sneak back and get it, if you would have just left it alone." He rose and dusted off his pants with a sigh. "I guess I'll be right back. Don't you do anything stupid while I'm gone this time." He added forcefully, then turned and left the apartment, grumbling to himself. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She replied, standing up as he walked out. Quietly, she changed into a DIFFERENT pair of pajamas, combing through her hair. It was apparent that she hadn't showered or changed during the time Raevyn had been gone.
Her eyes skimmed around her bedroom. Somehow, she wished it were something more - something more elegant. Something with STYLE instead of the cheap I-got-it-from-goodwill bed she had now. Along with her piece of crud dresser and breaking night stand, she hated her entire room. Then again, she had to remember that she didn't have the cash to do much more with it. If she did, she might have a much better apartment than the one she currently had.
For a moment, she thought about the fact that she had yet to get a job - and the fact that she was officially out of cash. When was rent due again? Wait - why was she even thinking about that right now? Out of distractions, she supposed. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... It wasn't long before Raevyn let himself back into the apartment, his stuff tucked under one arm. He came back into the bedroom and was unsurprised to find she'd changed. It looked like she was getting back to herself again. Catching her distant gaze, he raised an eyebrow. "What'cha thinking about?" He asked as he settled his stuff back on the bed. Reverting to his cat form, he settled on his cushion, watching Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....
