but i have another riddle and this one isnt nearly as hard as any of the others i swear!

Hear's a riddle for ya',
Find the answer,

What does the Maker make,
But doesn't sell?
The Seller sell,
But doesn't buy?
The Buyer buy,
But never use?
And what does the User use,
But never see?

All of these questions have the same answer.

On the previous page, the marble riddle's answer is an egg. As for the other riddle, the one with the kids, the answer that I got is 6, 3, and 2. or it could be 12, 3, and 1. I'm gonna go with the last one.

Dang it! For both of them, that is. Let me see.... If one of them plays the violin.... then that means that he/she must be at least 10 or so to play... But there is also (6, 6, and 1) (36, 1, and 1) (9, 2 and 2) (9, 4, and 1) and.... Dang.... there are too many possibilities. Does it have to be whole numbers?

Has to be a whole numbers and also you do not need to be at least 10 in order to play an instrument...
It does require some number crunching but it requires more logic than math.
They key point is that the guy needed more information in order to guess the ages.

Yes, and that info was his house number. They are all kids, so they can't be over 12. That means that one with 36 in it is out. That still leaves too many. I think that my head is gonna explode..... There is also 18.... wait that is too old..... Hmmmm.....

It is definitely one of those.

So here is the thing.
The guy needed more information after seen the house number which meant that that he had the same result with at least 2 operations.
12+3+1=16, 6+6+1=13, 9+4+1=14, 6+3+2=11, 9+2+2=13, 3+4+3=10.
So if the house number was either 16, 14, 11 or 10 then the guy wouldn't have asked for more info. Hence, the house number had to be 13. 6+6+1=13, 9+2+2=13.
Since he cannot randomly pick, he was told that the oldest one played the violin so there had to be an older one. Therefore, the result has to be 9, 2 and 2.

Mike has 5 marbles && David has 7 marbles.
Mike says: "if you give me one of your marbles I we both have the same amount."

D - 1marble = M + 1
D = M + 1 + 1
D = M + 2

David says: "&& if you give me one of yours, I will have twice as much as you."

D + 1 = 2 * (M-1)
D + 1 = 2M - 2
D = 2M - 3

so i general. if we try to look at the equations.

2M - 3 = M + 2
--> transpose M to the other side & 3 to the other. w/c makes
2M - M = 3 + 2
M = 5
