Authion reached the city with ease, but brought Maya to the Chamber of the elders, taking her down to the strongest cell. Once they reached the cell, he threw Maya in roughly before walking over and ripping the arrow out of her side.

The paralyzing effect of the poison kept Maya from making a noise, but the pain was evident in her eyes when Authion ripped the arrow out.

Seeing the pain made Authion laugh as he chained Maya to the wall. "Shot by your own it would seem. Either your race is stupid, or you really do just care for nothing but yourselves." He hissed, looking over the arrow now. "You'll be able to move and speak in a few hours. We'll see how loud you can scream then." He whispered in her ear before leaving the cell and locking it behind him. "Double security down here. No own goes into the Drow's cage except for me, got it?" He told a guard, who nodded in response before he let the room.

"You're demanding we let go the first female Drow we've ever been able to take alive?" An elder asked as he looked at Fidelius with anger. "The females contain knowledge that none of the males we interrogated were ever able to produce, and you wish for us to release the creature?"

"Putting the obvious aside, after studying the creature's belongings, we've come to the conclusion that she is a daughter of the Freana family. The Freana family is one of the most powerful families in their area. What she could tell us and what she could be capable of must be kept in mind." Another said, trying to calm the first and Fid. "Why would you ask us to release her?"

"One not like them would not have survived this long in their company." The first muttered bitterly, not liking the idea of the Drow free.

"What you are asking is dangerous, Fidelius. You put your kin and your reputation at risk." The second warned, though he seemed to begin thinking on it.

"The Drow is paralyzed for at least a few more hours. She can be moved safely in that time and monitored carefully after." The third suggested.

"So be it then. Authion, move the Drow to the room in the southwest corridor. Have your best men watch it." The second said, looking to the infuriated elf before turning his gaze back to Fid. "You'd better be right about this Fidelius." He warned before standing and leaving with the others.

"Ridiculous! You claim to hate the Drow more than anything and now you're begging for us to release one!" Authion yelled, heading down to the cell to retrieve Maya.

"Nothing is good about her." Authion growled in return as they reach the cell. "You three, guard the room in the southwest corridor. That's where she will be moved." He muttered, looking to a group of guards who warily nodded and went off as told. Authion unlocked the cell and walked in, taking the chains of Maya's hands and feet.

Maya lay there limply the entire time. Her eyes seemed lifeless and her body was cool to the touch since her heartbeat had slowed, which also kept her wound from bleeding too much, though a small pool had gathered below her side at that point. Her eyes followed everyone in the room carefully. Without her cloak and scimitars, she felt exposed. And as Authoin picked her up once more, he exposed the years worth of scars she'd collected on her back from being raised by her sister and punished for doing something incorrectly or against her mother's wishes. She didn't like such exposure, and had she been able to move she would've lashed out by now and ran, but she was unable to, so she laid there in silence, wondering what was happening and where she was being taken to now.

Authion carried Maya up to the room in silence, dropping her on the bed and leaving as soon as they got there. "Don't linger too long. You have reports to fill." He muttered to Fid before leaving.

Maya watched Fid in silence as he wrapped her wound. She was confused. Confused why she was put in the room and what was now happening, but she was also confused that Fid seemed intent on helping her. She figured once she was caught, that was it for any contact with Fid, yet there he was.

Fid's words confused her. She didn't understand why he was protecting her. She did think on it, for the three hours it took before the poison finally wore itself off. Fid was still asleep at this point, so she moved silently to the window, staring out to watch elves go by during the time, though the guards were also nearby, keeping a close eye on her.

"Feeling and mobility are slowly returning. Enough so that I could move over to the window. So I guess I am." Maya answered as she slowly turned to face him. "It's not a poison I enjoy. I do not like being left helpless." She muttered, her hands dropping to the hilts of her scimitars, only to find nothing at her waist and remember that they'd been taken from her along with her house insignia and her cloak.
