In the street near the park there were the sounds of screams as people ran for their lives. What from was a mystery until a very large creature rounded a corner while chasing a specific human. It was large and Bat like, but also very reminescent of legends of dragons. The creature was chasing a man who was probably homeless, and it was clear this was a hunt. It's eye's glowed eerily, and the creature sported two railroad spike like talons, one on each wing.

The monster inside of Ren started to explode. Hunger. Ren darted ever so faster, light on his feet as he dodged the trees. The bats above, as they flew in the night, signalled him of prey. A deer. Ren sped off ever so desperately only to find silence in the dark brush. He caught his breath, looking around quietly. He didn't want to scare off his meal. A rustle in the brush caught his attention. The animal shivered. Then Ren heard it. That pitiful scream. The deer that was in the brush darted off in the other direction. But Ren no longer paid any attention to the mere animal but the source of the mortifying cry. It was more curiosity. Nothing happened in this town. So what was it that created such cries; that left such a bad taste in Ren's mouth?
Ren sprinted off, in the direction of the streets and alas, made his way up the hill and onto a side walk. The scream came once again, this time closer. Ren ran off in that direction only to be slowed by the sight of a large life form. Never seeing anything like it, he looked farther hither, and there it seemed the poor human, it's prey, cowered from the creature. Personally, Ren disliked anything that got in the way of the chain in these parts. Things that brought up trouble...How was Ren supposed to live peacefully here? Especially when she was living here as well? Ren figured this beast, though Ren hadn't anything like it before, was going to eat this man. Since Ren was sort of in a pissed off mood; his hunger spoiled at the moment, Ren decided to help the hobo. He darted forward, quickly with inhuman speed. Ren was a fast one, it being one of his special talents. Though vampires were immortal and physically better than humans, Ren was faster than most to make up for his lack of extra strength.
He took the man's hand, careful not to tear off his arm, before pulling him onto his back and darting away from the beast. He couldn't possibly have this thing eat this man, that wouldn't possibly be any fun. He paused, 200 yards away from the beast. He looked at it but not for long, not wanting to see the anger it would bring to the beast, and ran into a very skinny alley. Ren stopped there. He would have to manipulate the man's memory of ever seeing such a thing before he could simply let him run off. He let him slip off his back, the bearded man wailing something about retribution and God before Ren smacked the guy's head and looked into his eyes with a glare. "Forget." The man drooled a little before Ren pushed the man's face away. The hobo stood zombie like for a moment before fainting, ready to sleep it off. Ren sighed and exited the alley, prepared in the manner of ready for whatever may come next.

(XDD Nice!)
Star hissed as she fell, wiggling around trying to catch one of the other branches yet failed. Nearing the ground, she gulped.
"Hello? Clouds....? Are you there?" Star calls out, peeking under her paws. She blinked to see Salem and started licking her cheek with her rough tongue. "It's you! Oh, thank you!" She says in between licks. Star giggled pawing now,"If I died in another form again, I'd have to stay in the sky for quite some time before I'd recover to form another form....." She says with a slight sweat drop. "Sorry I ruined the game.." She adds, her ears drooping.

The Creature was already Chasing another person, this time a cab driver who's cab had been flipped. The creature was moving slow enough for the man to stay ahead of it, and making itself looking like it was just a slow and flightless thundering predator. But the truth was far more sinister. It was playing with it's food. Enjoying the chase.

Ren cleared his throat, amazed at the persistance of the creature to eat. Ren sucked in a big breath, ready to use his energy. It wasn't hard to find what the creature was up to. He followed close behind it, wary of the tail, before passing it up with ease. It was unreasonably slow. He fastened up to the car before hopping on its top. The car skidded, turning in suprise at Ren's appearance on top of the car. He watched the creature chasing behind it, a bit overwhelmed at its size before crashing into the backseat. Why was he rescuing these people again? Maybe because he disliked this beast raining in on the tranquility of this town. He climbed into the passenger's seat, the driver screaming at what the f*** was behind him, who Ren was, and other complete nonsense. Ren took the wheel, wiping the memory of this guy before trying desperately to drive the cab. He sped up, drifting to make a right. He pushed the guy over, managing to be able to at least sit half in the driver's seat. He skidded to make another right, not the best driver in the world. Ren stopped the car, parking it before climbing out. He stood in the middle of the street, waiting for the creature to catch up or run off. In either case, Ren was ready to confront it. Whoever it was, why show up now of all times?

Unaware of all the commotion going on and the people in the forest Axel traveled a bit deeper than usual. He undressed and put all his clothes into the backpack and stood there waiting for the change. He looked up to see the sky slowly change from blood red to soft indigo. All he could think about was what the wolf would do while it was free. Scared, lonely, and anxious he felt his stomach turning as the change was starting. Axel let out a painful yelp as he fell to his knees, his face showing unbearable pain. He kept grunting and letting out small cries as his body structure changed. His face grew out to a snout, his legs stretched out to that of a dog or wolf, and his torso tripled in size with a tail. Axel was no longer in control, instinctual and ravenous the wolf started to roam the forest for food but headed towards the town.

The creature came to a stop about 50ft from Ren and it seemed to stare right into his eyes. In Ren's head he'd hear the words, "You should know your place." The voice that spoke in Ren's head was clearly belonging to the creature, and somehow would sound familiar, but where ren would have heard the voice before would be impossible to recall. And then the creature turned and ran after a third person clearly intent on getting a meal.

Okay, now this thing really pissed him off. Ren stood still, the voice reverbrating through his head, this thoughts, his body. It was chilling but familiar, however impossible to know the whereabouts of its origin. Did it come from that beast? If so, Ren never did take well to authority. He ran forward, turning the corner to see the beast chasing after yet another sad civilian. Ren clenched his fists. That thing...Did it think it was better than Ren? Know his place?! Ren darted forward with all his might, easily passing the creature and taking the human, who as soon was taken into Ren's arms, fainted. He held the woman and darted forward twenty paces, landed, before leaping sideways. He set the girl leaning against the building behind him, wipping her fore head to erase her memory of moments prior before standing, staring at the beast. "Hey!" Ren took a couple steps forward, obviously a little angry, and waved it down. "Piss off!" Ren stared at it, trying not to show fear, and stood his ground to the thing. He wondered if the thing woud ignored him, eat him, or run off. He decided it probably wouldn't be the former or the latter and would probably be angry Ren ran off with his victims for the night.

The Creature came to a stop at the corner and in Ren's Head the voice said, "What is the Matter with you!? I would think A vampire of your level of nobility would at least know to show respect to your lord!!!" Then the creature raised it's right foot and slammed it down; stomping. "Where is your sense of Etiquette you stupid Human blood Mongrel! Where's your sense of Pride? You're sense of Duty to you're lord??" Then the creature dashed forth at a speed faster than ren on his best night and stopped a mere foot from Ren. "Sharing blood with the main house does not entitle you to the same rights. You may be a blood relative but without the ability to transform you're just a stain on the family tree..." Then the Creature turned away from Ren and Leaped ten stories into the air and opened it's 40ft wingspan before flying away.

Star grunted as her left lower leg was starting to ache. I must have sprained it...oh well. Such a weak form, it is to be expected. She gave a smile as she licked at her leg. It being the cat's instinct, she didn't mind it. Her eyes flickered to the sky wanting to see her clouds, yet saw a figure instead. Star's mark upon her forehead gave a slight shimmer, and she could sense the figure's true identity. She knew as she too was of an ancestral race long forgotten from the new races like humans. Cone nai seukno... She thought watching the figure fly off until the trees shrouded it completely.
Turning back to Salem, she was curious if she too knew of.....no. She resumed her usual smile, pawing at her friend. "You should choose the next game, k?" She says innocently, her ears now perking in interest.

Ren winced, the speed of the beast catching him by suprise. He took a step back from the intimidation of the beast, looking at the face of the thing in awe. The voice again resonated in his head. Lord?... Before Ren could respond, the beast jolted upward and flew off, the gust of air messying his dark hair and rustling the fabric of his clothes. Ren shielded his head until he looked back up, the beast having disappeared. It was a shocking experience, one that left Ren a little stunned for several minutes. So that beast...That thing knew Ren's identity. He continued to look up at the sky. Calling Ren a mongrel, as if it were Ren's choice that he had human blood in him. But, what pissed him off was how it spoke as if it were the boss of him. Ren grit his teeth as his temper flared. No one was Ren's master much less Ren's lord. How could he show respect to that...Ren didn't know what it was. However, thare was one clue that allowed Ren to guess. Relative. Ren shook his head and decided it best to head home. Relatives...Main house...Ren always knew that he had other ancient relatives from what his mother told him but didn't expect to ever run into one ever in his life time. His mother told him of the ancient lineage and their prowess; how they were magnificently powerful creatures with the capabilities of transformation. Ren hurried back to the other side of town. Ren's own blood had human in it so such power could not possibly be wielded by the likes of him. It pissed him off. He wasn't jealous, no, but angry that that thing could rub it in his face like that. Ren looked over his shoulder, from where the creature formerly was minutes ago. He wondered if he'd run into it again. Only time could tell.
However, Ren did not stop by his house, but instead by hers. He wafted up the stairs, both tired and slightly angry. He decided to pay her a visit since his place was not welcoming. The old lady that rented the place out for him would probably complain he made too much noise coming back in the middle of the night and so decided he'd sneak in at morning. He knocked on the door, despite noticing the lights were off in the loft. But Ren could hear her bedroom door open after some time, since she was probably sleeping, and running down the hall to the door, opening the locks and the knob turning hurriedly as if knowing it was Ren at the door. Ren managed to give a fake smile to the girl, opening his arms to allow the girl to hug him. "Camille." She was surely glad to see him, welcoming him with open arms and a light kiss on the lips as she tiptoed to reach him. He looked down at her warmly before patting his coat jacket. "I picked up that book earlier today but you weren't here. I got worried," he murmured. She told him about her day before closing the door behind him, still in her pajamas. Ren patted her head before kissing her cheek, trying to find some soothingness to his former angry mood. As if Camille could tell of his bad temperment, she stayed close to him and spoke sweet words to him, trying to calm him. They spent that night together. [ I'm going to be uber busy this weekend and next week. I'll try to read up but the probability of posting is slim. Otherwise, I'll be taking off now. Sorry. ]

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”Salem hums softly to herself as she glances around at their surroundings, only just noticing how late it had gotten. "It might be better to head back towards the town again, I've heard there's wolves and I would rather avoid an accidental run in with them.", she responds as she starts to walk, still holding Star. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield ((I wouldn't mind a run in with a certain large wolf))

Star yawned, rubbing her eye with her paw. "Wolves?" She repeated in a sleepy tone, laying back into her arms. "Are you sure the term is plural..Salem?" She says with a giggle looking up with a toothy grin. She started to lick at her leg again, more instinct then thought like before. His trail remains from before.. She thought looking at the forest with different eyes. Eyes of her true form revealing light streams to which she called 'trails'. Each stream of light different then the other. Thanks to long exposition to the 'trails' she knew all trails by heart. All I see is one wolf...mixed with a few other trails similar.

You think there might be only one?", the witch asks, mismatched gaze watching both her surroundings and where she was stepping. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving...
