At the formality of the girl's introduction, the young lord practically raised his head in mock and began to chuckle. At first, it was only him. Later on, the rest of the court joined in. Wicked, jeering laughter filled the throne room. Everyone was staring at Aeda with wicked, mocking countenance. Ivril remained standing and looking quite amused at her civility. He then began with a thunderous voice, "What are you all laughing at? If you had half her civility, you would have more years to you!" He shot a fireball at one goblin whose laughter was particularly unsettling and obnoxious. The room that had been in uproar felt silent once more as their lord began walking back towards his throne, a magnificent dark figure that emitted an aura as hot as the fire he controlled. After taking a seat, he looked at Aeda, resting his cheek on a fist supported by the splendid throne's armrest. With his other hand, he gestured for Aeda to come closer. "Show us what you can do, woman", he finished with a booming voice that filled the room that was now silent and cautiously attentive to Aeda's movements.

"The youngest of our kind is considered wiser than the oldest of yours. Now, please excuse me. I have urgent business to attend to at the castle. I need to look for my missing sister", Isa said with a still gentle voice although the woman had been becoming a nuisance for her somewhat. She just could not help but be truthful about her quest. "I-Is that...?" Isa did not finish her sentence. She noticed who it was that was walking the streets. It was none other than Tyreal, their lord. She gasped and began to sprint, clearing people out of her way by saying "Excuse me" and just brushing through them to get a better view. In the midst of this, she accidentally fell forward when she noticed there were no more people to clear and down she tripped, right in front of the lord of good. It was a good thing she had her hands ready to support her weight or she would have fallen face first on the ground. She quickly pulled her head back to get a view of who it was in front of her. As she did, her hood fell back and the mass of thick, short blonde hair was revealed. She could not believe her quest had been so easy. She blinked those big blue eyes at least thrice, not taking it in yet that she was in front of the lord of good. It must have been that good luck she was blessed with. Well, the thing was that she did not even notice that she was a very lucky person. She blushed, knowing she just embarrassed herself in front of a huge crowd of people. She stuttered to get the words out, "M-My lord..." Nonetheless, she shook her head to clear her thoughts and said with utmost innocence and pure intention. "Please... Help me find my sister"

((OOC: Alas, the day has ended. It pains me to say this but... See ya again on Friday~ Nima-chan, you can have Chastity take over XP ))

{Okay. See you next Friday. emo }

Aeda grew tense, hardly able to hide her annoyance at the foolish crowd for laughing at her simply because she knew how to behave properly in court. Upon seeing one of the rowdier folk get his 'just desserts', she couldn't help but take on a smug little smirk. As was instructed of her, she approached when he motioned for her to do so. Once she stood a proper distance, she pulled out a small bag of seeds. After taking two she put the bag away, only to toss the seeds into the air. She was quick to whisper the incantation needed to speed the growth of both plants, revealing them to be one of the bigger and more deadly and carniverous species to live in the area.

Deciding to have a little 'fun' with her preformance, she made it look as if they were going to eat the people in the crowd before having them abruptly turn about and attack each other. (To say that she enjoyed watching the looks of horror some held on their faces was quite the understatement.) It wasn't long until one plant overpowered the other, devouring it on the spot and turning towards the caster. Aeda approached the plant, reaching her fingers out to gently trace across many of the 'wounds' it had recieved, healing them with little to no effort at all on her part. Of course, she then used the quickening aspect of the 'healing' to cause the plant to rapidly age - shriveling up and dying right on the spot. After it fell over at her feet, she looked up to the Lord and admitted, "I can heal people too, but alas, I'm afraid I'll need a living volunteer if you wish a display of that as well."

Ivril quietly observed Aeda with a cold gaze capable of unnerving anyone that stood before him. This exhibition would mean life or death for the person that stood before the lord of evil. Disappointing him meant death. For the majority of the 'performance', Ivril appeared disinterested, sitting as he did without so much as flinching. He seemed a little amused as some of his court members shrieked in terror, thinking the plants would attack them as he sported a smirk until the plants turned on each other to battle. This girl must have spunk. As the performance ended, he sat up to deliver a verdict, still looking indifferent about his decision.

After a few seconds of silence, Ivril began to softly applaud - something he has likely never done before for any 'performer'. The rest began to follow as courtesy to their lord and in a few moments, the whole room was applauding Aeda, even those that despised that dirty trick she pulled. Ivril smirked and began, "I have not seen many nature mages around here in over two centuries. They are certainly not common in the land of evil. And yet, one appears before us now" He paused and began to question her, "Tell me, where do you come from?" At that, the rest of the court began nodding to each other and asking "Where?", seeing it as a valid question. Some jeered and suggested outrageous places among which were: "Under the bridge!", "In the faery swamp!", "The mountain of doom!" or simply silly answers to mock her.

((OOC: Ooh~ You can have Chastity intervene but awesome news! My school put gaia back online after I boycotted them for blocking it. emotion_awesome I'm just thaat good. Shining-san, I'll be waiting for your post =w= ))

{Wewt! emotion_awesome }

Chastity was rather shocked and offended that this girl could talk so rudely to her. It would not do her well to show her displeasure, however, so she kept that 'pleasant smile' so common in Goodling lands plastered upon her face. She followed after the girl, somehow getting the feeling that this girl's quest would inevitably cause more harm than good. After all, if a family member was missing, there was almost always a reason. Usually it meant that said family member was consorting with those that they shouldn't, or that they were not good enough to remain in this society. Before she could stop the girl, it was too late, and she had already stumbled over in front of the lord. Just a child, yet so foolish as to ask something that was never in her rights to plead for to begin with. She stood in the crowd and watched, ready to walk in and intervein should the lord be utterly displeased with her outrageous behavior.

"I came from Vithrallyn." Aeda replied as calmly as she could under such stressful and unnerving circumstances. Vithrallyn, as Aeda knew, was a poorer elvish settlement closer to the border between Goodling and Evil lands. It was quite frequently attacked and raided when it was not torn apart from internal conflicts between the many bickering families that lived there. Technecally, what she spoke was a truth from a certain point of view, as the first settlement she arrived in after crossing the border was Vithrallyn. From there she had come to the Evil Court, with of course several stops within cities and magical academies along the way. She couldn't help but quietly praise whatever gods may exist for her education and interest in the geography of both lands.

(FML MMA training with one of my Sgt's for the past 2 hours. GAHHHH im dead tired and from doing strike drills my head is pounding. Oh well feel like I lost like ten pounds in sweat alone.)
Having stopped in his tracks as the sudden disturbance had jarred the crowd Tyreal gripped his spear tightly. When the child came stumbling down out of it to his feet nearly striking her face against the ground the angel's body loosened slightly having tensed up in preparation for a strike. Looking down at the child the man seemed to tower over her. At a standing height he graced seven foot and to a child he would likely seem as a giant. As he stared down at the girl she slowly came to her senses it seemed getting up and dusting herself off. A pair of large blue eyes stared up at the angel in a few moment's as a simple question filled the hushed air.

Around them silence had taken over the area the crowd seeming more shocked at the child's actions then anything. None stepped forwards to attempt to hush her words. None gave apologies for the actions just taken or the child's bluntness to come to the lord himself with a question. Just silence and shock surrounded them in that moment. The girl's voice filled with innocence and a sort of sorrow not shown by the people caught his attention most as the angel slowly knelled down on one knee to get closer to eye level with her. "Tell me young one. Where was the last time you saw your sister" he asked her simply. His voice was filled with both strength and an exuberance that garnered he wished to hear the truth from the girl.

"Fair enough", Ivril said softly in reply. It made sense. Vithrallyn was such a miserable place that not many people dared visit and risk getting caught up in the problems of those elves when they had problems of their own like - what and where to steal for breakfast? He heaved a great sigh and muttered something inaudible about how much better it would have been if she had failed and got sentenced to a slow, brutal murder, a public rape, or to be auctioned off to the highest bidder as a slave. He then eyed her intently again and said, "Aedammair Tamm, you are formally inducted into the court of evil serving as a nature mage" It all sounded good already until he added "...under scrutiny." That did not mean well. It meant everyone in court who despised her could easily expose, humiliate or flat out find some excuse to get her executed instead. A few giggles were heard as some were already plotting what to do with the newcomer. "Dismissed", Ivril said, flicking his hand to send everyone away. "Elf, I'll see you in my quarters". That also meant some things completely different in the land of evil. There were connotations and such that might have been different from the ones in the land of good.

When the lord of good knelt down to speak to her in such a voice she could only describe as 'kind' and/or 'considerate', Isa began to smile a genuine smile, filled with blissful innocence and very very different from the plastered smiles of everyone else in the land of good. "Thank you for hearing me out. You must be a very kind person!", Isa said in praise before remembering her predicament and returning to a rather somber expression. "I last saw my sister leave for nature magic classes last week. I hadn't seen her since" She leaned in a little closer and said in a soft voice nearing a whisper, "Please... She's all I have"

{What do you mean? *is le confuzzled* If you mean the other RP'ers, I'm not sure.}

The words under scrutiny sent a chill down the elvish woman's spine, effectively freezing any and all hopes of getting through this messy situation unscathed. She could feel the Lord's subjects' eyes upon her, drilling through her with wicked and poisonous intent. When Aeda already felt as if she were about to faint on the spot from sheer terror, the Lord suddenly mentioned his quarters of all things! In Goodling lands, this was usually to discuss proffessional matters in a more private setting or to set the stage for blackmail. In Evil, however, Aeda simply didn't know what to expect. All she could do was thank goodness that she hadn't been brutally murdered yet and to hope her good fortune would last beyond the rendezvous in the Lord's quarters.

"Certainly, my Lord." With her thoughts churning and twisting violently about like a vicious whirlwind inside her head, Aeda soon departed the throne room as well. She would try to arrive as quickly as possible, as in her experience most employers hated it when a lackey was late for any reason. As Aeda did not doubt, in Evil this could even mean death. Perhaps if she were extremely fortunate that day, her heart would stop bashing the inside of her ribcage by the time she arrived at Lord Ivril's Quarters.

Xikkbi returned to her hometown. It was a town outside the castle gates. The capital city so to speak. The sight was... mildly depressing. At least if she were capible of feeling depressed. Though in a way she can since she clearly remembers how it is to be depressed. Though as a nobody it isn't quite the same. If anything anything she 'felt' is much weaker than before. Or she simply didn't feel anything at all.

She was about to return to her little apartment which was above one of the local taverns but she stopped suddenly. She wasn't sure why, but she was beginning to feel.... uneasy... for some reason.

"You might want to 'pretty up' before I send you to the lord's quarters", a succubus said with slight nudge and a giggle, coming up to Aeda as she approached.

Meanwhile, the lord of evil was in one of his quarters, sitting in a rather large and comfortable couch with beautiful women of different races keeping him company and occasionally feeding him with the finest grapes to be had in the land of evil. It wasn't saying much since vegetation wasn't exactly 'plentiful' but these ones had to be gotten by slaying large, carnivorous plants and cutting them open with risk of being sprayed with acid just to take the fruits from their insides. He was waiting for Aeda to come. The women just entertained him when there was nothing to do. They kept him company and obeyed his every order whenever he wanted something done.

Pretty up? What did that have to do with business and her duties? It took a couple moments for it to register in Aeda's head that things definately weren't going to be as simple as she'd hoped. Intending to get a better idea for the situation without exposing her ignorance to exactly where things were going, she asked the succubus, "I've never had much a mind for my appearance. Please, will you give me a few suggestions on what exactly I should do?" Hopefully she would seem more a confused tomboy than a genuinely naïve maiden.

Xikkbi let out a sigh after a few moments, "I'm hungry." she muttered to herself as her stomach began to hurt from hunger. She would starve herself until this pain came up. Not as a diet, but because food seems to be scarce here. Other people probably needed the food more than she did.

"Oho~ I sense a makeover coming. Girls!" The succubus called to the curtains and from behind, an army a group of succubi with garments and makeup came up and the blonde, blue-skinned succubus that was talking to Aeda, pulled her (or rather dragged her) to a corner where said 'makeover' could commence.

((OOC: Where's Shining-kun~? =w= ))
PostPosted: Fri Jul 06, 2012 10:11 am

{Not sure. Shall I go get him?}

Aeda let out a small yelp in surprise, not at all expecting this outcome from simply asking for a small bit of advise. Not that she could really complain about a free makeover, however, as these succubi probably knew Lord Ivril better than she currently did. Part of her worried that these women might simply dress her up innapropriately so they could set her up for failure, but other parts of her felt that it was well worth the risk - as her current attire was nothing suitable for a private audience with the Lord as she now realised.

"Do you not think that anyone should here the plea of a child tho" he questioned her still kneeled down. "Is this all of the information that you have on your sister then" Tyreal asked her looking out to the crowd for a moment. "I haven't been told what she looks like yet youngling. T'would not be much of an attempt at help if I don't know what she looks like would it" he laughed softly as he patted the girl on the head.
