 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked up at her as she entered the bedroom again. "Do you want some help with your hair?" He asked, his voice becoming aloud as he shifted while he spoke. He stretched once more for good measure, making sure his human form was up to the day's tasks. He headed towards the kitchen as he waited for her answer.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Okay, so Ash would rather have a much more neat style. But she wasn't about to accept help from him. She walked to her closet, closing the door before changing quickly into a t-shirt and jeans. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Alright. If you say so." Raevyn agreed with a shrug. He began bustling around the kitchen and soon had breakfast on the table for them both. Eggs, toast, and some sausages. "Hearty breakfast to start a good day of work." He said simply, sitting down to eat his own breakfast. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled softly, winding up in the kitchen as she smelled food wafting into the bedroom. "Smells good." She said aloud, although she would say that about any food she could smell, so it really didn't mean much of anything. Quickly, she moved into the dining area. After a moment, she sat down at the table, pulling her plate towards her. "Looks good too..." She muttered as she set to eating it. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "As long as it tastes good." Raevyn said with a chuckle. "Taste is what's really important." He was already half finished his own meal and still eating quickly. He was finished before long, taking his dishes to the sink and washing them. "Anything else you need from here before we go?" He asked, not realizing he'd said "we" instead of "you". "Before we go?" She questioned, emphasizing the 'we'. Her eyes glanced over to him. "What do you mean by 'we'?" Moving from the kitchen, she went to the door with her hands on her hips. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced up at Ashriel in confusion. "Didn't I tell you? Mama hired us both. I'm going to be helping too. This is my home as well, after all." Surely she wasn't going to fight him over this as well. He felt bad that he wasn't able to help much, so he wanted to do what he could. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"You can't pay for any of the rent - you've already paid for an outrageous amount of groceries, and definitely paid for more medical bills than I had to worry about for you. You don't have to help." I don't want to be a burden, so I'm going to help." He propped his hands on his hips, determination in every lone of his body. "This is my home and I'm going to earn my keep." He said stubbornly. The only thing that changed was the amount of food needed. As long as you can pay for your portion of the food, I won't need any help." Ashriel stated stubbornly, glaring lightly at him. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn strode across the room quickly, putting one hand over Ashriel's shoulder, holding the door closed. She was not about to run out on him until they'd gotten this sorted out. "I want to help." He growled at her. "Is it so hard to understand? Think about it. If you were suddenly to move into MY apartment, would you want to help pay the bills and such?" He asked, suddenly turning the question around to her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Her voice was quiet, reluctantly admitting to it. There was no way that she was going to lie about this. No way he would let her lie about this. "You're right. Fine..." She was still hesitant, but it was evident that she was still uneasy about letting him do the work for something she'd purchased. Something that was under her name. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Raevyn grinned brightly, pulling away from Ashriel, putting more distance between them. "Now that that's settled, we can go." He said, seemingly back in a good mood. He didn't care how reluctant Ashriel was, as long as she agreed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel didn't say another word as she walked out of her apartment, starting down the stairs immediately. She was outside within a minute, staring at the street and her surroundings. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn followed her down the stairs and outside. He stopped walking though, watching as she went the wrong direction. "Where are you going?" He asked playfully. "Cause I'm heading to work. In that direction." He said, pointing the other way with a grin. The tiger that should be....isn't....
