[ I ] { A } mnot that person who can just instantly trust people. [ I ] { A } mthat person with the guilty heart. Ashriel didn't even look back at him. "I'm going the long way." She declared, only loud enough that he would be able to hear - everyone else would think that she was just talking to herself. Quietly, she ducted into an alley that she already knew went all the way to the next street. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. [ I ] { A } m that quietly loud person that seems to be able to be both at the same time. [ I ] { A } m not ready for this

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes and grumbled something that sounded suspiciously like "stubborn female". He turned and continued down the street he'd gestured to. He walked at an easy pace, eventually ending up at Sanctuary. He entered and greeted the people with a grin. It was slow right now but it would pick up more towards evening. Raevyn slipped behind the bar and picked up an apron, nodding a hello at the man already there.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Just a minute or two after Raevyn, Ashriel came through the door quietly, nodding to those who spoke to her. Now how was she expected to start? Her eyes moved quickly about to try and figure it out. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Mama Bear suddenly appeared in front of Ashriel. "Ah, you are here!" She greeted her with a smile. "Come, come." She dragged the girl over to the bar, reaching behind it to grab an apron. She handed it to Ashriel, explaining. "You will do tables, alright? Bring food, bring drinks, take dishes. You can do waitress right?" That was where she needed the most help, keeping the tables served. "Any questions, ask Mama or Raevyn. We will answer." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was slightly startled by Mama Bear's sudden appearance although she managed to avoid showing it. "Yeah..." She answered, taking the apron. Quickly, she put it on, listening as Mama Bear spoke. Before she'd done the shoe store, she'd been a waitress so that wasn't that big a deal. "Okay." The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Mama nodded firmly. "Good. Now go." She turned Ashriel to face the tables and gave her a light shove before bustling off to do her own work. Raevyn, watching them, grinned. "Have fun Ash. I'll join ya when it gets busy." He called out to her. For now though, he stayed behind the bar, cleaning and washing. The bar wasn't very busy right now, only a few tables in use and a few more with dishes and bills left on them. In a few hours though, as it neared twilight, the bar would pick up business. Most of it's patrons were nocturnal, not waking until evening. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Getting everything written down, she moved around before getting over back over to the counter. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn met her at the counter, taking the paper. "I'll bring everything out in a few minutes." He told her, glancing over the paper then disappearing into the back. Now Ashriel would know how he'd gotten so good at cooking. When cooking for as many people as Sanctuary served, you got good or gave up. And Raevyn was too stubborn to give up. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Bringing back the tickets for two more tables, she looked over and saw no more that weren't handled by her or someone else. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Mind on the job honey." Raevyn said teasingly, setting the food down on the counter in front of her. "No daydreaming now. Careful, plate is hot. I'm assuming you know which table to take it to?" He glanced over the place and took a deep breath. "Get ready, rush is gonna start trickling any minute now." The tiger that should be....isn't....

She said, with the determination only she could pull off. This was one of the few times where her stubbornness was a good thing; it is impossible to make her just give up. Hurrying, she delivered the food to the table, getting the drink orders of a couple who had just sat down. She got the drinks and delivered them before checking up again on the previous food orders. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned, knowing she would be just fine. By the time she reappeared, the food was sitting on the counter for her. He himself though was nowhere to be seen, already working on another order for the other waiter. Sanctuary quickly filled up, working both Ashriel and Raevyn hard. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Sure, the rush was a challenge, but it was just that: a rush. Honestly, she enjoyed it. By the end of it, Ash was smiling, clearing off one of the tables from one of the later dinner diners. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, the last orders handed out, leaned against the counter. He wiped his face with a cloth hung around his neck - The kitchens were boiling hot. "So. How'd you like your first night at Sanctuary?" He called to Ashriel with a smile. He already knew the answer though. It was written all over her face. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I'd forgotten how much I love waitressing." Which reminded her: what happened with tips? Of course, she wasn't quite sure how that was related, but she figured she should ask, since she'd remembered.
