 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head, grinning. "Nope. Mama believes that if you got a tip, then you earned it. Thus, you get to keep it. The patrons are well aware that she only requires a tip when they feel the waitress - or waiter - " He nodded at her companion who'd helped in the rush, " - deserve one. So, how much did you make?" He asked, knowing she would have made a bunch. The Sanctuary patrons were usually pretty kind and Ashriel had done well.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

[ I ] { A } msick of people pointing me out as 'that genius I told you about.' [ I ] { A } mdesiring to stay under the radar for once. [ I ] { A } mnot that person who can just instantly trust people. [ I ] { A } mthat person with the guilty heart. Ashriel shrugged. "Didn't have time to count. I was a bit busy." In truth, she'd gotten every person's orders that she could the minute they sat down. She didn't slow down for any reason - she liked it that way. "I suppose we can find out when we get home." A yawn. Why was she tired? They'd just woken up before they'd come. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Looks like someone's tired." Raevyn said with a laugh, pulling off his apron and tucking it under the counter. "I bet it's because you didn't realize it's almost two in the morning." He shook his head lightly, glancing around. Spotting Mama, he called out to her. "Mama! I'm taking the human home to bed. She's done for the night." The woman looked up, then hurried over. "Alright. You two be safe now." Raevyn rolled his eyes. "Pleased, Mama. With me? Of course she's safe." Mama just shook her head. "You know better my kitty. Be safe, and I see you two again soon. Ashriel, you work very good. You will do just fine." She gave each of them a hug and a kiss before sending the off. The tiger that should be....isn't....

For a moment, she tried to figure out what time it had been when she had woken up. She wasn't exactly sure, but she knew it had been late. Eh. She didn't say anything as Mama and Raevyn spoke, walking out with him. Ah, well, so what if they would have only a couple hours of sleep. She'd dealt with less on her first job.
As she walked, she felt herself nodding off slightly, her feet taking her into the street more than once due to the fact that she actually fell asleep while walking a couple of times. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn walked quietly beside Ashriel, occasionally pulling her back onto the sidewalk rather than the street. After the second time that happened, he wrapped an arm around her waist and held her close. That way, he stopped anymore attempts before she reached the edge of the sidewalk. It took him awhile to realize she actually was falling asleep on her feet and not just tired. With a sigh, he swung her up into his arms, carrying her easily. The tiger that should be....isn't....

There wasn't any argument, due to the fact that she managed to fall right back to sleep. She was, of course, still recovering from all that had happened. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I'm sure you can." Raevyn murmured with a chuckle, knowing she'd already fallen back asleep. He carried her easily back home, shifting her slightly so he could open the door. Closing and locking it, he carried Ashriel to the bedroom and set her down. He tucked her in the turned off the light before returning to the bed in his cat form. He settled himself in Ashriel's arms, completely ignoring his own cushion as was becoming habit. He too, was soon asleep. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She let down Raevyn slowly, attempting to remember getting home. Yeah, no. She couldn't remember anything after her shift ending. Moving quietly, she walked through the hall to the bathroom, only to see the bathroom clock and squeal. "Eek! It's NOON!" Okay, she practically screamed it. But it was Monday, they should be at school right now. "Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot." She cursed, moving quickly to get ready. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn jumped to his paws, woken by Ashriel's yelling. "What?! What's wrong?" He asked, eyes darting around the room suspiciously. His claws her extended and sunk into the blanket. He hadn't made out what she'd actually said, only that she was yelling. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Oh nothing," Then she piked back into a yell. "ONLY THAT IT IS NOON!" She had thrown her hair into a pathetically messy ponytail, and she was already back in the bedroom, digging through her closet. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "WHAT?!"Raevyn yelp, scrambling from the bed. He shifted to human hurrying into the kitchen to cobble together a quick lunch. He always kept his backpack packed so he didn't need to worry about that. "Here! Breakfast or lunch or whatever." He said, handing her a sandwich. He stuffed a pair of granola bars in his bag and a pair in Ashriel's before handing her the bag. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She took the sandwich, deciding to eat it as they walked. "We'd better head out." She decided, slinging her bag over her shoulder. The phone rang, and Ashriel already knew who it was. Rapidly, she answered, firing a response before the person can speak. "Jen, we overslept. On our way to school right now." She paused for a second, as there was a knock on the door. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignored the phone, knowing - as Ashriel did - who it was. He was already heading for the door, his bag slung over his shoulder when he heard the knock. "Got it." He called out, figuring he knew who it was. He opened the door. "We overslept Jen. First night at new job, so sue us." He said, sliding past to head down the stairs. She walked quietly with Jennalin, eating as she did so. Neither girl spoke until they were almost there, when Jennalin decided that a warning would be necessary. "So. Um. I should warn you: Lixini got into the gossip chain this morning." She said nothing more, figuring they would figure out what she meant. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, walking a little bit ahead of the girls, froze. He turned slowly to look at Jennalin, eyes wide. He understood right away what the girl was warning about. "Dear lord no." He breathed the words. "Please tell this is some sick joke. Please do not tell me Lixini told the whole school that Ashriel and I are dating." His normally pale skin was bone white. "Aw man.....Do you realize we are going to be swamped with questions and people now?" He asked with a groan. The tiger that should be....isn't....
