That is, until she went to her Bio II course, and I to our Chem II course. That was when she started talking." She shrugged, Ashriel looking at Raevyn in awe. Shoot. First, she was missing for a long time from school for no reason when she hadn't missed in years, and then she comes back with a rumor that isn't supposed to be a rumor flying around about her and Raevyn dating. "'Course, you can both live up to your 'reputations' that Lix says you've gotten." It was well known that, although Jen paid attention, she didn't seem to be in the 'loop' when it came to gossip. Lix, on the other hand...
"What is that 'reputation' I have?" Ashriel asked. She was in habit of being completely oblivious during school hours, totally focused on either writing, reading, or drawing. Her eyes glanced to Raevyn. Honestly, she hadn't noticed him all that much before she'd found him, so she wouldn't know about his, either. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak.  The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Um.....And just what reputation is she talking about?" Raevyn asked worriedly. Being a loner by choice, and often just staring out the window, he had never noticed people talking about him. He had a feeling though that his reputation was probably something like a 'bad boy'. After all, no one really knew anything about him and he was always dressed in all black with his leather jacket.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

It is...interesting. Both of you are said to be 'unapproachable' and Ash is said to be the 'rebellious artist' and you are said to be the 'invisible daydreamer'. Then again, that was what Lix said."
Ashriel rose her eyebrows. Well, hers made sense. Last time someone actually asked her something, or a teacher had her work in a group, she'd get tense and angry every time her opinion was ignored in any way, shape, or form. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blinked in surprise. "Well that's......not as bad as I was expecting actually." He had to admit, that wasn't bad as far as reputations go. And he did look like he was daydreaming a lot. "I was honestly expecting something weird because of my leather jacket. So that's actually not too bad." Then he scowled suddenly. "But I'm still not happy with this. I knew that girl was trouble. She causes me nothing but trouble." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((You're stalking Our Farewell? That just happened to be the personality I chose. *shrug* But yes, I do enjoy the overly bubbly characters. I also like stupidly stubborn and headstrong ones. I like a lot of things, actually.))
Raevyn sighed and followed Ashriel into the school. "Today is going to suck." He muttered, not caring if Jennalin heard him. He headed to class and hurriedly claimed his seat at the window. He hoped against hope that the inevitable wouldn't happen. He knew it would though. People would approach him and questions would abound. Already, he could feel their eyes on him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took her usual seat in the back, taking out her sketch pad and pencils the minute she sat down. For now, it seemed everyone was leaving her alone. Her gaze drifted to Raevyn and immediately everyone was badgering at her. Not good. Desperately, her eyes searched for her old, gray haired - or did he have hair anymore? - history teacher. No sign of him, anywhere. No, no, no, no, NO!
Quietly, she drifted her gaze back down, and she concentrated on working on weaponry sketches, scaring many of her interviewers off. Yup, she was going with the rep. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. [ I ] { A } m that quietly loud person that seems to be able to be both at the same time. [ I ] { A } m not ready for this--Good night. I should get on sometime between 11:20 AM and 4:00 pm, depending on what goes on. but I will get one post in during the day, at least.--

He just stared out the window, pretending he was deaf and couldn't hear them. One eye was twitching slightly though, showing his annoyance. His interrogators didn't notice though and continued badgering him. 'Where's the teacher when you need one?' He thought, desperate to get away. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Almost immediately, he began to count down, and the only the more daring of students remained standing. His glare caused the final group to sit, and he began roll call.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn heaved a sigh as the teacher walked in. He slumped in his desk, head against the desktop as he listened to the teacher. The rest of the afternoon passed much the same - Students pestering Raevyn and Ashriel until the teacher came. It was with relief that he heard the final bell ring, releasing them from class. Raevyn instantly ducked out of the school and into an alley, returning to his cat form in order to hide. He sauntered back, curious as to how Lixini's conversation with Ash would go. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, hearing Ashriel's voice, padded over to her. Her twined around her feet, meowing softly to be picked up. It hurt his neck, forever looking up at them.
Lixini wrung her hands, trying to look innocent. "What? Someone asked where you were and all I said was that I didn't know but your boyfriend probably would. It just kinda....snowballed from there." She chuckled nervously. "They were asking questions and I couldn't just not answer. That's rude." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Well, apparently he had carried her more than once in the last couple of days, so she supposed it would be fine. "Why'd you even mention I had a boyfriend? The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn settled comfortably in her arms, watching Lixini with wide amber eyes. He didn't like just anyone picking him up, but he'd grown to be comfortable enough with Ashriel. Besides, he hated looking up all the time.
Lixini scuffed a foot in the dirt. "I didn't mean to. It just slipped out. And snowballed from there, like I said." She suddenly noticed Raevyn and was instantly distracted. "Kitty!" She squealed happily, reaching out to pet Raevyn. He pulled back slightly, ears flattening. "Can I pick him up?" She asked, trying to take the cat. "No you may not! Don't let her pick me up! I remember what happened last time." Raevyn objected to Ashriel instantly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Sorry Lix, but I've gotta be getting home now. Bye." She said simply, somewhat cold as she spoke. Quickly she began moving, heading for the apartment. As she got halfway there, she went into an ally, setting down Raevyn after checking to make sure that no one was anywhere nearby. "Okay, that's enough carrying." Yup, that was her answer.
