 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini's face fell as she watched Ashriel walk away. She bit her lip, realizing just how mad the other girl was. "I didn't mean to......" She whispered sadly once Ashriel was gone. She sighed and turned back to her own home.
Raevyn looked up at Ashriel, rolling his eyes. "Glad to see you love me." He muttered dryly and shifted back to human. "I carry you around all the time. And trust me, you weigh more than a cat does. Besides, being on the ground makes my neck hurt. I practically have to turn my head upside down to see you."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"And, as far as I know, I've contested every time you've lifted me up. You chose to continue." Her eyes directed themselves downwards as she began to walk out of the ally. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Excuse me?" Raevyn asked in surprise. "Mumbling "I can walk" when you are obviously asleep on your feet does not count as protesting." He told her, trotting to catch up then walking alongside her. "You were walking into streets!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

I don't remember anything like that." She answered, turning quickly to continue walking home. Then she remembered the fact that she still needed a new alarm clock, and she switched directions entirely without informing Raevyn. No attention was paid as she crossed the street, passing right in front of a car. Of course, she wasn't hit - perhaps out of pure luck. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and rolled his eyes. "Of course you wouldn't." He muttered to himself. He turned a half second too late and hat to scramble back to avoid the car. It wouldn't have hit him anyways, but he'd developed a healthy respect for cars - One Ashriel didn't seem to have. "Would you stop doing that?!" He scolded the girl when he'd crossed and caught up. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Stop doing what?" She questioned, oblivious, just as they passed by a couple of girls who began giggling just then. Must be from their school. Stupid Lixini.
She hurried away from the girls, walking into the store. Now, where would an alarm clock be? Wow, they'd rearranged since she'd last been here. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at the girls, then followed Ashriel into the store. "Would you stop crossing streets without looking! I can't count the number of times you've only just barely missed getting hit. And that's only since I met you! I don't even WANT to know the number since you were born. How the hell have you not been hit yet?" He ranted as he trailed along behind the girl. "I mean seriously! It's ridiculous!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I listen to the engines and guess how long they are going to be." She answered simply, going through the store somewhat clueless. Where would the alarm clocks be? Electronics, maybe? "I threw my clock out the window." She wasn't about to say when, though. Then he might insist he buy her the new one. And there was no way she was going to have that, not when she actually had money. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "And just why did you think it was a good idea to throw your alarm clock out the window?" He asked mildly. He knew exactly when it had happened too, without her saying so. It was easy enough as it had been there when he left was but was gone when he returned. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "So you threw it out the window?! There were a dozen other ways to handle that!" Raevyn scolded her like a mother hen. He couldn't believe how much of a wreck she'd become while he was gone. And for less than two days even! He hated to think of what would have happened if he'd stayed away longer.
