Just finished spending the past couple hours glancing over the text of Pride and Prejudice and recording what quotes I want to use for my essay. So far I think my paper will turn out quite nicely. And there may be a possibility of me reaching the required 6 page requirement easily... especially when it's double spaced. 3nodding
And the presentation I'll have to do for class will be easy too. Originally I was going to do it on Lost in Austen, but I was having difficulties figuring out what aspect I was going to cover. Then I decided to do Emma, which will be must easier to do. Especially with getting hold of pictures. 3nodding Not to mention, I can talk about Emma without giving away a bunch of spoilers, which would most likely happen if I went with Lost in Austen.

The presentation has to be 10 minutes long. whee My goodness...
Hopefully I'll be able to meet that requirement.
Especially since I've never had to do a 10 minute long presentation before. 5 minutes, yes. But 10 minutes - no.
We'll see... I'm sure I'll do fine.

It's funny the other day my friend and I were talking about the memes on DeviantArt, and we were discussing on how "meme" is pronounced. I told her that I pronounce it "meh-meh", as if it was Japanese. She said she does the same thing.
The real pronounciation? "mi-m", rhyming with "cream"

I'm planning on having it as a costume party - where everyone comes dressed up as a Wonderland character. I already know that two of my friends will be dressing up. One of them will be dressing up as Alice, as best as she can. And when I was having the discussion with my other friend, it sounded like she's thinking of being the Mad Hatter. blaugh
As for me? I'm going to be a combination of the Red and White Queen. I'll be the "Pink Queen" or just simply "Queen of Hearts". I'm going to wear my pink prom dress and one of my crowns I have contains a pink heart gem... so... that's why I'm going with the "Queen of Hearts" theme. 3nodding

This isn't the first time I've had a dress-up themed birthday party. The last one I had was a Hollywood themed b-day party, where I had everyone come dressed up in their finest gown (or outfit, if they weren't the dress-wearing sort).

It sucks that a lot of the items I want cost so much in the marketplace. Especially when I'm no where within the range of some of the items when it comes to the amount of gold it costs. xd
