The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Ever heard of the bar called Sanctuary? That's where we're heading. Over on 8th and 17th." Raevyn told her calmly, looking around as they walked. It was odd to be a cat and be seeing things at this level. He knew where he was going though. The bar was a popular one, known for it's well enforced "no fighting" rule. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel nodded. "Yeah. I know where it is. Just don't blame me if I get lost. I can be a ditz with directions." Still, she headed in the proper direction of the bar, taking a deep breath as she walked. La-ti-da

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Great." Raevyn rolled his eyes. "I get the crazy chick who can't tell left from right." He said, though his voice was teasing and not really mean. "But so far you're heading in the right direction." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel grinned. "Hey, I normally make it where I'm headed." She said, laughing. "I just occasionally zone out and forget where it is I'm headed. That's when I change directions and get lost." Still, she was able to make it to the bar with no problems, at which point she looked at Raevyn. "So do I just walk in?" Being a bit crazy is fun!

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just laughed at her. Once they reached the bar though. "Yeah. Go in and to your left, against the back corner, is a door with a guy standing guard over it. That's where we need to go as that connects to the main house where the boarders stay. Careful though. The guy on guard is likely to be mean and try to keep you away." He told her warningly. "Just let me handle is and don't show any fear. Most of the people here aren't human. And fears makes them uneasy because scared people do stupid things." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Do I seem like someone that would be scared so easily?" Ashriel asked, as she walked into the bar. She followed his directions, walking towards the door at a casual pace. Her face showed confidence, one that would not be broken. No, I'm FEARLESS!

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Warnings are still always nice." Raevyn glanced at the door and the buff man guarding it. "Oh good. It's just Dev. He's the more relaxed one." The man, Dev, put an arm out to block Ashriel's way. "I'm sorry ma'am, but it's a restricted area beyond this." He told her with a gentle smile. "Oh knock it off Dev. I need to make sure none of you have stolen my stuff." Raevyn told the man who blink, not having seen the black cat on the girl's shoulders. "Hey! You're still alive!" He opened the door he guarded and yelled inside. "Hey Mama! Someone found Raevyn!" A big woman appeared from inside the house. Seeing the cat, she instantly picked him up and cuddled him, making Raevyn hiss. She ignored it, looking at Ashriel. "Oh, thank you dear. I was wondering where my little kitty had wandered off to." "Don't bother Mama. She knows." At her look, he turned defensive, ears flattening. "I didn't have a choice, alright? Being hit by a car will do that. She picked me up when I was hurt." She petted him soothingly and gestured for Ashriel to follow. "Perhaps we'd best sit down and talk this out." She said, leading the girl into the house, to the comfortable living room. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel followed them in quietly, not fazed at all. She blinked once, for the casual acceptance of her being there. Ah, well. As they reached the living room, Ashriel made it a point to not get distracted looking around her. She was a lot more intent on noticing every person as to not get surprised or frightened. Okay, I'm feeling more and more sane every day.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Once they were all settled comfortably, Raevyn in Mama's lap, the woman began without warning. "How long have you known and how much do you know?" She asked suddenly, her eyes wary. She needed to find out how much of a danger the girl was to her and her kind. Raevyn stayed quiet, knowing he was in enough trouble as it was. The firm hand on his scruff assured him of that, not letting him go anywhere. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"I came here almost as soon as I found out...and I know he's a were-cat." Ashriel knew only that, and she was certain of it. "I know wolves chased him...but that is about it." She said confidently, looking at the woman holding Raevyn. Hmph.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "And she knows Sanctuary isn't exactly human." Raevyn added in a meek tone as the woman glared at him. Under her glare, he began to get defensive again. "I didn't have a choice, alright? I was hurt, and hurt bad. I'm still not healed and it's been a day." That alone would tell the woman how bad he'd been hurt. "I wasn't thinking straight and did things like I normally would and she noticed." His fur was bristling and he was snarling quietly at her silent criticism. "Hush kitten. I'll deal with you later." She told him, glancing at Ashriel. "For now though, we must decide what to do with her. For she's a danger to all of us, even with just her little bit of knowledge." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel looked at them, her eyes still confident. "You shouldn't worry...even if I told someone, they wouldn't believe me. Even my friends believe me to be entirely insane." She said solidly, her voice still strong. Insanity...don't let me down now!

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The woman seemed to hesitate, clearly thinking over the words. "Just leave her be, Mama. She's not going to do anything except maybe drive me crazy." Raevyn told her soothingly, his fur starting to flatten as he stopped snarling. He glanced between the two females and sighed. "I'll take responsibility for her actions." He told Mama seriously. She glanced at him, then nodded. "Very well Raevyn. But you know the consequences." The cat merely nodded, neither of them elaborating. The woman glanced at Ashriel. "If you're to stick around, I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm Mama Bear or Mama as most call me. I run Sanctuary, a place for animals with no where else to go." She held out her hand to the girl.

[A]shrielAshriel took the woman's hand, smiling confidently. "My name's Ashriel Morgan. Nice to meet you." She said, her eyes glancing over to Raevyn, kind of curious as to what he meant. Went better than I had planned. Then again, I didn't plan at all...so that means nothing~

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Mama nodded, shaking the girl's hand lightly before dropping it. "Well, I have a bar to run. In you need anything, just as Dev, the one at the door." She rose and set Raevyn down on the couch. "As for you, I'll deal with you later as it seems you aren't here to stay." Raevyn just shook his head. "Just needed to let you know I was still alive. And grab some stuff from my room." The woman nodded, then turned and left back the way they'd came. Once she was gone, Raevyn glanced at Ashriel. "That went better than I'd hoped. Thank god you didn't show any fear. She would have killed you on the spot." The tiger that should be....isn't....
