 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn whined again at the sound of her voice. He didn't really know what to make of this creature, unafraid as she was. He whimpered, his tail curling against his side. Watching Ashriel from the corner of his eye, he turned slightly to lick at the wound on his shoulder, cleaning it.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel reached for Raevyn, using a soothing voice much like the one that Raevyn had used on her before. "Please just let me wrap that up so it won't bleed out too bad." Her fingers were poised to wrap the bandage around his shoulder if he let her. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's ears flickered back and forth indecisively. Somewhere in his mind, he recognized her voice. It warred with the part of him that wanted to be alone. He watched her hand warily. Finally the two parts of his mind compromised. He snapped at Ashriel's hand, though he was more warning than trying to hurt, then turned away and let her reach his shoulder. The tiger that should be....isn't....

After she finished, she dug through her purse again, stashing the bandages. She debated whether or not to give him pain medication. Would that be okay to give him? The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hissed and whined as she bandaged his shoulder. He stopped when she stopped though, falling silent. Inching closer, he hesitantly laid his head in her lap, closing his eyes. Some part of him recognized her as safety for him. He seemed more relaxed than when she'd first gotten there. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Well, he was beginning to recognize her again - that was a good thing. Her hands moved from her purse to run her fingers gently through his fur, careful to avoid spots that were obviously injured. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn began purring at her touch, the low sound thrumming through his chest and throat. He seemed to slip into a light sleep, though he continued to purr. He wasn't sure how long he slept, but he woke slowly, blinking, trying to figure out where he was. And what he was looking at cause it made no sense. Finally, he realized it was Ashriel's knee. He lifted his head, yawning, then glanced at Ashriel. "Ash?" He asked softly, soft enough not to wake her if she was asleep. The tiger that should be....isn't....

By now, it was getting to be bright out again. She was still asleep when Raevyn woke up, leaning against the back wall of the alley. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Looking at her, then at their surroundings, Raevyn tried to recall exactly what had happened. The memories came back to him, filling him with shame. He'd never wanted Ashriel to see him lose control like that. Just the fact that he was in his jaguar form proved how far he'd gone. There was more than one wolf who hadn't lived to see this sunrise. Seeing the sun reminded him. He nudged Ashriel gently. "Ash. Ash, wake up. You need to get up. You need to get home." He said softly, trying to wake her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Poor Raevyn was baffled. What was she dreaming about? Shrugging it off as dream talk, he nudged her again, more forcefully this time. "Ashriel! Wake up!" Suddenly he remembered a tactic that had worked on her before. "Ashriel, breakfast is ready." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's whiskers twitched in amusement. "No breakfast. I just needed you awake. You fell asleep in an alley. Rather stupid idea, I must tell you." He told her, watching the girl. He was obviously feeling a bit better than last night, more himself now. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed. "If I was still conscious, then I was fine. Did you see Fang run? There's a reason he wouldn't come near me. The most dangerous animal of all is an injured and threatened one." He told her patiently. He only had blurry memories of his cat-minded time, but he remembered Fang running away. The tiger that should be....isn't....
