The girl did a last-second flip in the air to avoid the sabersaw. The droid is getting frustrated with the girl's reluctance to help it play with it's new toy. The droid acts like it's walking away from the fight in a spoiled huff. As the girl walks up to the droid to see what's wrong, the droid turns and slashes at her midsection.

The droid waits for the boy to step to the edge of the pitfall. When he pokes his head over, the droid jumps up and slashes with it's saber as it passes over the boy's head.
The boy was lucky enough to duck in the nick of time, but the droid flips over the boy's head and lands behind him. It jabs it's saber behind itself, aiming for the boy's spine.
