Goddess: That makes a lot of sense. I haven't been on Gaia long enough to remember MCs when they were that cheap. Actually, I have. I remember when most MCs cost about 10.000 gold in the MP. When the new MP layout came out, prices on everything went up. I remember saving up for the Celebrity Date (my first MC), and I was disappointed that it was "So high priced!" Times have changed, haven't they?
Yeah, as much as Gaia vowed that the new MP wouldn't change prices it did.
When I first started playing most MC's (save the really old ones) were 8k-40k and that seemed like sooooo much. I quested an elegant veil at 35k and it took me forever.
I found part of playing the market is plain old fashioned patience. Sometimes premium items (like the Mercury's moon) will come out and it will take months for the price to fall. The infinity hat items were like that. I wanted a monorail cat halo so badly, but at first the price was 250k and I couldn't afford that at all. Slowly it fell and fell and fell and before the last big market inflation they were around 60k which is when I bought mine, I was very glad to have waited and saved almost 200k.
