From his soft whimpering and sniffing, he looked up at Krystal, keeping his hands to himself before slowly pulling out four fingers. He stared at Krystal before feeling shy, pulling his shirt up to hide his head and turn around as though he had just become invisible.

"Will anyone be needing a knife?" Veronica said in a dazed sounding voice. She seemed to be at the point it seemed to be a fight to stay awake. But he had to make sure anyone would be needing any of her supplies before she went to sleep.

At this point, Amber was already somewhere in this tropical rain forest, even if there wasn't any rain, it was the only likely conclusion Amber could think of. Birds chirped and cawed out at other birds and other animal like noises began to frighten her a little too, being all by herself out here. But one person missing was better than two or three or any other number other than zero. There were berries she's never seen before and not to mention the other fruits too. She walked straight to ensure that she could find her way back. It may have been hot over by the sand, but it was humid beneath these trees. She stepped on something and sighed, one of her biggest pet peeves...stepping on things and getting her shoes all...ugh, she didn't want to think about it, just doing so made her angrier and angrier. She sighed, plucking off a stick and picking at the piece of fruit that practically died beneath her foot, that is if it had a life. She blew up at the strands of hair that got in her face and stared down at the dirt, practically filled with these fruits lying on the ground. She looked at the large bush like tree, noticing very familiar leaves and fruits.
She reached up to the ones that she could reach and plucked off a small, but ripe lychee. It looked liked lychee, she put it up to her nose and inhaled in from her nose, she stared at the fruit. It smelled like lychee. Amber frowned a little, trying not to have doubts before she walked underneath the three, attempting something she's never done, and never will do in front of people. Climb it.
She would have continued plucking from the bottom...but it seems that all the lychee that she could reach without climbing were probably already eaten by whatever animal resided on this island or not ripe yet. It was a short three, it should be alright, right?
She climbed on a branch, picking ripe one and using her tank top as a basket, having nothing else to use. Even so, the process of picking fruit felt so slow, perhaps because this is also the first time that she's gone to find food by herself, not that she was even hungry at the moment though. She sighed, inhaling in through her nose and exhaling from her mouth. She was not going to allow herself to indulge in food whether she was going to live or die on this island. She began pulling on the bunch of lychee, trying to get the process done faster. But only doing so, made her lose the ones in her tank top.
Amber sighed and stared at the bunch annoyed and irritated...if only she had a knife or something...

When she didn't get an answer Veronica fell to her side, and was back to sleep. She'd sometimes curse the fact she would sometimes automatically go to sleep if she were psychically, or mentally exhausted. Which in this case it was both. Before she fell into her deep sleep she took out a leaf shaped key-chain off of her bag, and set it before her in case anyone needed it. Sure it looked like a regular key-chain, but it was actually a knife. In case someone needed it. She didn't notice that the person who did need it wasn't there anymore. In fact she barely noticed Amber to begin with expect for a short moment.
There are a few times she mutter something as she slept. Unless someone listened to J-pop, they might not get what she was saying. It was either 'kakakate' or 'pon pon'. Other time what she mutters is pure randomness, things like 'tribe of strawberries' or 'shadow will take care of him'

Sara watched Amber as she ran off into the jungle and wanted to follow but she was so shy. After a bit though she got the courage to look for her. She glanced down at Veronica's knife first, looking at the sleeping girl. She simply picked it up, sure it was fine. She would feel safer with something in her hand. "I'm gonna go after her." She said in case someone was interested, before going off into the jungle. She looked at the ground, able to see where the floor had been recently stepped on. She followed the trail quickly, and after a short amount of time came upon the girl. She was collecting berries? Sara did not have a lot of experience concerning what fruit you could eat in the wild. "Are those safe?" Sara called out softly, not wanting to frighten the other girl.

Hearing a voice, Amber shot her face towards the direction it came from, staring at Sara a shocked face before turning it away, trying to hide how embarrassing she must look, straddling the branch of a tree, reaching for fruits. She only sighed, and though she felt a bit upset for being caught up here, what would it matter? "If it's what I think it is, I'm pretty sure it's safe." She plucked a red lychee from above and began to peel off the skin, revealing the white flesh inside, and sniffed it. "It looks and smells like lychee, it's good for you and low in calories and also protects the skin from UV rays." She put the white flesh in her mouth, chewing on it before spitting out the seed inside it, swallowing the pulp. Amber reached up for another one and tossed it to Sara. "You tend to learn about what you're eating when you're in the modeling business." Amber had already given up trying to get a whole bunch and just pluck the fruits individually. "They're also good for your metabolism."

Sara felt bad for scaring the girl but couldn't get up the courage to apologize. She had never actually had a lychee before but she did what Amber did, peeling off the skin and spitting the seed out while she ate the white of it. Amber was a model? Sara's eyes traced the skinny girls figure and she frowned. She was far too skinny for her taste, she had always thought the most beautiful woman were the kind with a lot of curves. Although as for guys, she preferred them skinny. She walked closer to Amber and held up the knife unsure. "Would this help?" She asked Amber, noticing how she had plucked the berry's one by one. It would be better to get more, there seemed to be a quite a few people stuck here.

Amber stared at the leaf shaped key chain and quirked a brow before reaching down for it, picking it up, pulling the blade out. "Thanks. Here, I'd wouldn't give them to you if I wouldn't drop them, but..." Amber began picking the small fruits off of her shirt and handing them down to Sara before leaning over to cut a few brunches. "I never got your name, I'm Amber." She handed down a brunch before cutting another one above her, and another just in case, putting the blade away and pulling herself off the tree.

Sara quickly put her hands up when she realized that Amber was handing them over. She was still dressed in her one suit bathing suit with her long yoga pants. Luckily she had pockets included and she hoped no one would get mad for her putting the fruit in there. She quietly took the branches handed down to her, holding them. "I'm Sara." She answered, not mentioning she already knew the girls name. "I know we got these, but I think we defiantly need to start looking for a water source soon." Sara bit her lip, unsure if that was all right. Food was a necessary but right now water was more important. After all you could die faster from lack of water than food. They could take the berries back to the kids and then go off again.

"Yeah..." Amber got out from beneath the tree, going back to their trail of foot steps, looking down further away from it. "The juice itself won't be enough but we shouldn't wonder off too far. We should probably take this back to the other first." Amber frowned...wondering how they could get clean water in a place like this.

"Okay." Sara went first, walking along the path. She looked around as she walked, though keeping an eye on her feet so she wouldn't trip. Off to the side, above the trees she could see something above, looming over. If it was a mountain that would mean there would be streams, the closer to the mountain as well the cleaner the water. There had to be water here, everything was so lush and green. Or at the very least it had to rain here often, in which case was fine because they could collect the water. "Do you know how to build a fire?" Sara asked. If worse came to worse they could try to evaporate the sea water and collect the fresh water droplets by a branch or something. Sara wondered if anything would wash up on shore from the boat, since it seemed so concentrated here with how many people had washed up here.

Amber thought about it for a moment, frowning in thought before she winced and sighed, adverting her eyes. "Sorry, I don't." Amber wasn't much of an outdoor person, always living in the city, especially after moving from California to New York. She looked down solemnly, "But I can try..."
After a while in his shirt and breathing in it, it was beginning to heat up in there. The little four year old pulled his head out of the shirt and wiped his sweat, looking around before noticing something shiny in the rising and falling tides. He got up on his feet and ran towards the ocean, reaching down to pick up the can bobbing up and down, there were a couple more, bobbing up and down behind him. He looked at it and put it back in the water to wash off the sand before running back to Krystal with the yellow shiny can with a red apple on it. He pat at Krystal's leg and pointed to the can.

Sara nodded, she didn't know how to make a fire either. Maybe they would get lucky and someone, at least one person would have some idea how to start a fire. She kept walking, glancing back a the model every few moments to make sure she was still there. "The first two days are the most important." She said softly, looking ahead. "We still have two days of them searching for us." She didn't say what happened after two days. That the search usually gets called off. That they would be stuck here. She winced as she stepped on the beach, the sun much more powerful out there.

Somehow, hearing that made Amber's heart feel trapped, but she didn't say anything, and neither did her face.
"You'll risk your life to become a model?! I'd rather let you go to design school like you've always wanted!"
"You don't have the money!"
Amber took a deep breath through her nose and sighed it out, thinking back a few years. She got a job offer at sixteen and her mother had just lost her job, being laid off. After running off, every now and then, Amber would send a check to her mother, but they never spoke a word, or even exchanged one, since then. Amber sighed again as she stepped onto the sandy beach. She really did risk her life to become a model.
Seeing as the two came back, the little boy ran to Amber, surprising her with a yellow can with the picture of an apple on it. "Where did you get that?" He stared up at Amber before shying away a little, all he wanted was for someone to open the can for him, but he pointed to the ocean anyways.

Sara bit her lip when Amber did not reply. She felt so awkward around people, she was always saying the wrong thing. She just hoped she hadn't offended her too much. She looked curiously as the boy brought Amber a can and pointed at the ocean when asked where it came from. The water. Sara had been right, things were washing up. She looked at the waves though, they seemed a bit harsh.
"There's stuff washing up." Sara said in astonishment. "We need to go collect it before it's washed away." She laid the branches down quickly, and kicked off her pants. What did it matter if this group saw her obvious scar on her leg? The important thing was that canned food seemed to be included in the things washing up and that was something they needed. She didn't wait for anyone else but went into the water, picking up what she could and walking far enough back to land to where it would not be touched by the water again.
