The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No I'm not alright." Raevyn growled. "When he said nearby I didn't think he meant that close!" He said, forgetting Ashriel had no idea what he was talking about. He wasn't a seer but he didn't need to be to see that fights were going to spring up often now. Not always physical fights, but tom cats, were's or normal, just did not get along. It wasn't in their nature to share anything - Territory, prey, or mates. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him, completely confused. "Who? What?" She questioned, leaning against the counter now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn snarled, still glaring at the wall. "That stupid tom is moving in next door." Between his words and attitude, it was easy to guess who he was talking about. Not even the wolf pack made him talk like that. Only Lucian, the other were-cat, did. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel, although happy, was still confused. "Why is Luke moving in next door?" Her stomach growled again, and she only rolled her eyes at it. "Why are you so mad at Luke, anyways?" She asked carefully. After all, she was unconscious when they'd met.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "He's moving in to help deal with anything that comes this way." Raevyn spat, returning to moving around the kitchen again. "And do I need a reason to be mad at him?" He deliberately clanged pots and things around as he worked on supper. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yes, yes you do." Hypocrite. Ashriel looked at Raevyn solidly. "It is silly to not like someone if they haven't done anything bad to you."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grumbled under his breath for a moment before answering. "He and I had a little spat alright? Besides, cats are solitary animals. They don't like others in their territory." A little spat was one way to put it, with the insults they'd been throwing back and forth. There was a reason were-cats generally didn't live together, or near each other for that matter. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's eyebrows rose. "Oh, okay." She answered calmly, her stomach growling yet again as she spoke. "I'm gonna go to bed, okay?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No it's not okay. Sit down at the table." Raevyn ordered, gesturing to the table with his free hand. "Supper is almost ready. And don't give me the 'I'm not hungry' spiel. I can hear your stomach growling." He said before she could argue. He grabbed out plates, setting them on the table and dishing out food. "Sit down and eat." He said, putting one plate at her spot, letting the spaghetti's smell drift through the air. He'd gone with her original idea of spaghetti. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned as soon as Raevyn spoke. When the food actually came out, she couldn't argue. Quietly, she sat down and started eating, glancing at Raevyn. "I wasn't hungry." She muttered between bites, although she finished eating quickly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just smirked at her as he ate. "Uh-huh. Right. That's why you're eating so fast." He said disbelievingly. "Why not just admit you were hungry?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Is it such a big deal?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head softly at him. "Because I'm not." She answered simply. Biting her lip gently, she stood up, taking her dish to the sink.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just shook his head, not pushing it farther. She'd eaten, which was enough for him. It didn't matter why. He took his dishes to the sink and started running the water. "Go to bed." He told her kindly. "I'll clean up here." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, no intentions of quarreling. She walked to the bedroom quietly. Almost instantly, she collapsed onto the bed. That was why she wasn't hungry - she was exhausted. Her arms were cradling her blanket.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head at her lack of argument. Chalking it up to being tired, he did the dishes as he hummed to himself. Once the kitchen was clean, he wandered into the bedroom. Glancing at Ashriel, he could see she wasn't up to moving much. So he shut off the light and returned to his cat form, crawling up onto the bed. He scowled at the blanket she was cradling. "Fine. Hug the blanket. See if I care." He muttered to her grumpily, curling up on his pillow. The tiger that should be....isn't....
