 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just grinned at her. "Yeah. I'm just a-quivering in my boots." He told her playfully. He ignored her thanks, seeing no need for it. He wasn't entire sure what she was thanking him for but he was sure it wasn't needed.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel continued to grin silly. "Well, come on then, Scaredy cat." She joked, grabbing his hand and pulling him along suddenly. Inside, her heart was fluttering at the fact that she was actually holding her hand, but outside she was still energized by their charade.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stuck his tongue out at her but didn't protest the hold on his hand. He merely let her pull him along, content with the fact that she was smiling. "It's not nice to call people names." He chided her playfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laughed. "I can if I wanna!" Her tone retained its playful quality. They were near the entrance to The Sanctuary, and Ash seemed not to notice still, having too much fun.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just grinned. "Oh hush and get to work silly." He said, pushing her lightly towards the doors of Sanctuary. The moment they walked in though, Raevyn got a towel to the head. "Was that you I saw pushing a sweet girl around?" Mama demanded but her eyes glinted with amusement at the pair. "Into the kitchen with you. Don't let me see you abusing this poor girl." Raevyn mock sulked and headed towards the kitchen. "Yes Mama......" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laughed as Raevyn got the towel to his head. This was just too funny. It was also the first time in forever that she'd gotten to just play around, to mess around. She blushed lightly as Mama spoke, putting on her apron as she watched Raevyn go into the kitchen. She got straight to work taking orders.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned to himself, hearing Ashriel laugh. He disappeared into the kitchen, waiting for the first order. Tonight, he barely noticed the berth the other were's gave him, too glad to have made Ash laugh instead of cry for once. Occasionally, as the night wore on, he caught her eyes and grinned. It was soon too busy for more than just a grin and maybe a wave. Being Saturday night, the place filled up fast, becoming loud and cheerful. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned each time Raevyn caught her eyes. Somehow, she easily kept up with the constant flow of bar patrons; her energy seemed to be endless. She didn't make all too many mistakes, and none were actually noticeable. It was nice, having played with Raevyn on their way here. Honestly, it was the first time she'd actually enjoyed herself since she had been kicked out. Not that she was going to tell him that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was glad to see that Ashriel was keeping up easily. Still, he was relieved when things finally slowed down around midnight. Soon after that, it was slow enough for Mama and her houseguests to handle it. Raevyn ducked out of the kitchen, grabbing Ashriel's arm as she returned some dirty dishes. "Mama says we're free to go." He told her with an easy smile. "Come on. I've got a treat waiting at home for me." He didn't dare say catnip out loud here, lest Mama decide he shouldn't have any at Ashriel's either. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Okay, okay. Let's go." Ashriel walked out the door, still smiling as they left. Her eyes looked about the dark night, a yawn slipping easily from her lips. Quietly, she held his arm as she walked a different way from before - avoiding that alley.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn walked with a jaunty step, seemingly not even tired by the long shift. He was glad when Ashriel chose a different route home. He didn't think the wolves would be there again, not after he'd finished with them, but there was no reason to take a chance. Without even thinking much of it, he grasped her hand in his, twining their fingers together. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel blushed lightly as he took her hand. Her stomach fluttered as she walked along beside him. She was silent as she stayed by his side. Several times when they walked by dark alleys she could have sworn that she saw glowing eyes, but she passed it off as just imagining it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn didn't notice, too busy with the thoughts of what lay at home for him. As they neared the apartment, he broke away from Ashriel, hurrying on ahead. He turned back to look at her. "Come on! Let's go!" He said, clearly impatient. The tiger that should be....isn't....

As Raevyn broke off from her, Ashriel could swear she could see some movement approaching her. Startled and frightened by the movement, she tripped. Her eyes looked up to see a dog of some sort quickly advancing on her. Clambering away, she spoke rapidly. "Raevyn..."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's grin faded away at the sight of the dog. Except it wasn't any dog he knew, which made his suspect it was a wolf and not a dog. He hissed, advancing towards Ashriel, shedding his human form as he did. Like the other night, he reverted to his jaguar form, big enough and dangerous enough to take on most creatures. Amber eyes locked on the creature, he approached, still hissing and snarling. The tiger that should be....isn't....
