I think the choices are:
Agumon (that evolves to Shinegreymon)
Gaomon
Falcomon
and Lalamon

Ah congrats blue. I went back a bit and read. When did the rule change happen? Too bad I could have definetly done that XD

And I don't think that is the whole list because I thought the starters were supposed to be the 5th season starters...

They are, but apparently you can't obtain them in the game except for getting one when you start.

Oh that's fair then, if that list is correct then bearmon is not an option I wich case I shall aim for candlemon

OK guys I did some research on getting new digimon and here is what I got

Kill the digimon
get the chip eggs
convert them to chips
Talk to Kamemon and he will do something

I read some of the comments and they say that this is easy all the way to its hard.

@ Karan: From what I read, it can be rather easy or rather hard depending on your luck.

Basically a Digiegg is a rare drop. You feed it chips of the same type and hope it doesn't permanently break.
