Last Thursday I had two people tell me that J.K. Rowling is considering writing a new Harry Potter book and I was wondering if anyone else missed that announcement besides me? If you did happen to hear it can you please tell me what it was all about?

that rumor is empty. if ther is going to be an 8th, she wont write it. she said from the begging there was going to be 7 and thats it.... i'm now sad about that. she could have done a bit better on the ending i say......

ok, i just heard something about that, it's, like, some form of "after it all" kind of book rolleyes . but harry isnt the main character. i dont really understand it. sweatdrop

No, I only know that she's probably writing (or is writing) a little "encyclopedia" or something. Hopefully it'll be interesting... and not just stuff copied and pasted from the books.

the ending of Book 7 lacked for one reason
Epilogue is in same book
Epilogues are the "what happens after the final chapter" kinda book stashed into another book
as for a rumored "eighth book"
load of newscaster kept saying
"the final one is here, or is it?" to stir up some controversy
if she rights another HP, it'll be either a "Reader's Guide to HP" or it'll be about one of his descendants and have a different name
i myself loved the ending, kinda sad, but most of the stuff ended well

I liked the ending, and i've only heard rumors of an encyclopedia.
