i'm stuck in choosing a laptop for college can anyone give me your advice?

$ 2000 basic $1400
Kinda bulky design Slim Design
Can't get that much virus' PC virus'
No Security programs Security program
alot of media editing media editing

I hate mac! So i say go with the sony. If you are looking for an anti virus program i know of a good one.
