I'm stuck, Ive read that in the future you needed to have planted the magic bean to get the hookshot, yet I forgot to do this and now am in the future anyway, so how can i get back to the past to do so if not at all. If you answer this, explain.
If you want to go bakc to the past, you need to go back to the temple of time.
I don't temember much about getting the hookshot, though. Is that the one you get in the water temple, or the tomb...or is that one the longshot? sweatdrop

You get the hookshot at Dampe's tomb thing..also, to go back in time, go back to the Temple of Time and go to the pedestal where the Master Sword was.
ya did that, but shiek is still there telling me to visit the village that i get the hookshot in....

to get the hookshot go to the graveyard in kakariko village, pull the graves with flowers before them. in one, dampe will tell you to follow him do so, and at the end he will give you the chest with the hookshot in it.
Go to the village. pull gravestone, chase dampe, get the hookshot. the magic bean is needed for the heart piece in the graveyard.

right... thanks, again though, ill play it when i get around to want to play a legend of zelda game, but for now ive got cravings to play final fantasy games.
