Has anyone ever played ROM hacks of pokemon games? I have. A lot of them are freaking weird but some are actually decent. Like Shiny Gold. Shiny Gold is a hacked version of Fire Red but the hacker edited the maps and everything to make it match Gold Version with updated graphics. It's pretty cool, but then there are some where the hackers made an entire new set of pokemon. that's really cool and all, but I think ROM hackers should be more original: if you can change the maps, why not make an entirely new region WITHOUT using the exact same maps and changing names?

Played some really weird one "called' Diamond. That was for the GBC though. it was... .... ...... Interesting. COuldnt really pla y it, and the "translation" was subpar. but it was funny that someone was actualy passing it off as a pokemon game. I hope someone actually bought it full price. That would have been hilarious.
