1. Anything big/heavy/dangerous enough to at the very least scare the intruder off.

2. NO! If the only thing in your reach that can keep you/your loved ones safe is something dubbed "inhumane" then so be it. If anyone is to blame in this situation, it's the intruder for baring into your house and threatening you and/or your family.

Well, my mother has an iron skillet she's planning to give away, and when I lifted it up it was pretty heavy and hard. I think that would be a perfect weapon against people. It'd prolly crack a skull easily~

Hmm..... I would use the long knife my dad keeps for seafood. The blade is about a foot long and it is sharp... very sharp. smile

2. As funny as it is to see people running around with their hair on fire, hands caught with a chinese finger trap, and pants caught in a meat grinder, you might get in trouble for it.

I have some supersuperhold Rave hairspray which hurts me when it just gets on my skin, its mostly plastic and solvents; it does hold your hair straight up all night tho

and it makes a fine torch if you spray it over the flame of a butane lighter

although that can blow up and kill you too
