Healthy level of insanity?

What do you good folks think is a healthy level of insanity?
How do you go about keeping said level of insanity at a healthy level?
Questions to ponder, have fun with it!

some people are insane enough to do dangerous things and try to do crazy experiments that lead to greater things

Surely both sanity and insanity are based upon
one's own perception.

Therefore, if you see your own insanity as sanity,
you would have no insanity and would therefore think insanity
of abnormal and unneeded.
Thus, any level of insanity is not healthy.

However, should you see your sanity as insanity, you would see insanity
as a healthy, possibly required thing for survival.
Thus, any level of sanity is unhealthy.

Some friends, or family, or just Tv/books keep my mind in check (I get in a killing mood everynow and then) I usually just imagine killing the person, I'm not sure why I get angry XD LOL (Just Violent by nature, sorry I can't help, I'm not really like other people)

Insanity is a basic necessity for the mind to function.
Without it, how would one discern sense from nonsense?
The pet rock, introduced at the right time, averted thermonuclear war, after all.

Those who think they are sane are only insane by thinking so. What is the definition of sanity after all? Even if you can find one, "healthy levels of insanity" most likely differ from person to person. I'm pretty sure I haven't hit the "unhealthy" level yet, but someone else who acted as crazy as me might be waaaay overboard compared to their normal level. It all depends on how you look at it.
...By the way, I'm pretty sure that Pie is what insane people think of most of the time... at least that's what I think of a lot. whee
