Vez nodded to Marise, indicating that the time had come. By his blessing, the black grilled gates of the couple's estate swung open, allowing access to the pitiful mortals about to meet their end. As though they hadn't learned their lesson, they came charging in. At the same time, Vez let go of Marise and stepped away, vanishing into a flutter of bats. He reappeared at the top of the staircase, easily overlooking the ground floor. He had one hand ready at the hilt of his sword although he found it to be quite unnecessary in a battle against petty humans who only come for death and nothing more. Now, the goal was not to 'fight' but rather to play and make sure none of the 'toys' escaped. As the angry mob approached, the front doors of the mansion swung open as well. Those who had a brain stared at Vez who laughed heartily at the sight of them. The others were already contemplating to flee before their commander rallied them to fight against the 'monsters' that lived in that house.

{Update on what?}
Marise held a smug look on her face, looking the fools over without even a shred of worry or sympathy. As Vez could no doubt attest, that wicked look in her eyes meant that she was contemplating which spells to use to slay her foes. Simple flame spells could be fun, but she was in no mood for the bare basics. Instead, she decided that she wanted to experiment with one of her more dastardly infection spells. As she recalled, it was supposed to cause the afflicted to burst from the inside out after a single moment of immeasurable pain. As a bonus, it was also supposed to transfer to any normal human caught in the gorey explosion of a previous victem. Thus, the cycle would begin again. Assuming everything worked as intended with this spell, of course.

Vez had himself, no doubt, already thought of the next course of action. As a vampire, there were plenty of ways to murder people. One, for example, would simply be to force anyone who so much looks him in the eye to simply strangle themselves obediently like good little puppets. But they were not going to have it easy. Not this time. Not now. Now was the time to make them all suffer slowly and be plagued until the very point of death. In a fit of laughter, he outstretched his arms and turned into a plague of bats, biting and plaguing the townspeople who swung their weapons to no avail. Of course, some brought silver, which Vez steadily avoided. No matter what form he took, silver burns were still silver burns. They hurt a lot for vampires. Marise could take care of those just fine after all. Believe it or not, in Vez's opinion, they made a good team.

{Ah.}
Instead of causing the victem to explode, Marise's spell caused the victem to lurch over and empty every content of his stomach. After that, some organs and a heavy ammount of blood followed suit. Oddly enough, the witch looked rather dissappointed with her find. She'd hoped for a wider range of effects. All well, she still had plenty of other spells to try.
For example, she could temporarilly summon blood spiders from within one of the rioters, prefferably one of those with silver. The spiders could attack all the villagers nearby, even frightening the more faint of heart. No, no. That seemed too boring.
Instead, she opted to go for the possession route, taking control of one of the weaker minded rioters to have him attack any ex-ally nearby that he could. It wasn't as gloriously messy as the spiders, she knew, but the reaction and horror of the apparent 'betrayal' and the anguish of putting down a fellow human being was always amusing to watch. Perhaps she would reanimate some of the corpses and have them join the fray and clean up the mess afterwards.

Vez still pestered the townspeople as a cloud of bats. From time to time, images of him could be seen here and there at split seconds clawing off faces, impaling people and basically just causing bloody mayhem like an unleashed war machine. It would make sense. Vez was once upon a time trained for war as a young man of his own time. That combined with his abilities as a vampire of significant age and power made him a formidable foe.
((OOC: So, maybe just one more post for bloody mayhem~? =w= ))

Marise simply went nuts with her magic, doing all sorts of horrible and gory things that immediately came to mind with any villagers who possessed silver or came even remotely near her. That isn't to mention the temporarilly risen zombies out of the crowd who slowly but steadilly picked off rioters as time went along. All the while the witch never once looked as if this were a truly horrible or dangerous situation. If anything she looked like a gleeful child at play, having the time of her life.

When the last man fell at Vez's hands, he took a steady drink and lay him down in the puddle of blood and the piles of bodies. He wiped his lips with his fingers and licked off the blood before turning to Luminette who still seemed gleefully murderous. It made him feel rather amorous. In his eyes, she appeared as a beautiful monster, draped in blood and consumed with mayhem. He took a fist slow step forwards before he began to walk and stride towards her. And as he reached her, he began to kiss her, cupping her face with both hands, completely and utterly aroused by the mayhem and bloodshed the both of them had caused.

Marise gladly reciprocated the kiss, slowly wrapping her arms around Vez as she pressed herself up against him. It was quite common during bouts of violence for her mind to travel beyond the hellish gore that she wrought, for her thoughts to linger on carnal delights and lustful touches. The sighs and moans she let out with every eager breath, the look of pure excitement fixated upon her delicate features, and her every action seemed to imply something far more suggestive than just mere violence.

Vez kissed Marise even more passionately before carrying her and in a second, they were in the master bedroom, walking past Vez's coffin. He lay her down on the bed, kissing her with a fiery, violent passion. It wasn't love but the spur of the moment and the closest possible thing to make love to. At least, that was what Vez convinced himself of.

In all essence, Marise was completely and utterly intoxicated by the moment. She was like a vicious animal, not a thought in her mind but the hard kisses they shared and the carnal pleasures that would undoubtably follow. When it was over, she would be much less reluctant to admit her satisfaction than Vez. Indeed, she would probably tease and taunt him for every ounce of delight their shared moment was worth. She would not let him forget that only she could truly bring out this side of him in the spur of the moment.
