Ember Terran Why Not Tentacle Monster At last the pinkish creature emerged fully from its punchy home, sliding out onto the table with a squishy thump. The white tablecloth draped on the refreshment table was now stained with bright red punch. The creature took a minute to orient itself, used to the buoyancy of liquid, finding its balance on two 'feet' and a 'tail'. Its 'arms' flailed about, a squeal issuing from... somewhere... as it toppled backwards and landed on the floor. Ember sat there calmly, still eating, as she watched the creature emerge from it's home. If she was surprised something of it's size could fit in the punchbowl, she didn't show it. However, as it squealed and fell backwards with a wet slop, she felt compelled to act. She rose from her chair, walking over to the creature where it lay and held out an arm for it. "Excuse me? Are you alright?" she asked, bent over slightly The creature gave a noise that could only be described as a glorp. It wound one of its tentacled arms around the robo-girl's appreciatively, regaining its balance. Once it had it let out a high-pitched squeal, folding in the middle to take a bow of deference.

With the whirring sound of mechanical servoes, Ember helped the odd creature back to it's "feet"; responding to it's bow with a smile and a polite curtsy. "Enjoy the party" she said, bidding it farewell and returning to her seat, and to her now half-plate of food.

Suckers popping with each step, the tentacle monster undulated itself over to the dance floor, where it began to rhythmically jiggle and wiggle to the beat coming out of the nearby speakers.
