While it would be cool to have a buncha loyal/faithful little house "slaves", unfortunately it isn't morally or legally okay to do such. And putting them on ice is much better? At least this way people get some use out of them.
Yeah, but it's very wrong. There are reasons there are child labor laws and anti-slavery laws after all. Putting eggs on ice is better because they aren't an individual life form capable of thought. |

It's called kids doing their chores, so they don't get grounded and (if the family has the money to actually spare for such things in this economy, day, and age with all the bills and expenses parents have to pay to keep their families fed and alive) earn an allowance. smile
Oh I thought he meant it a more literal way to joke around. |

No, I'm pretty sure he meant it in a joking manner where they would just help clean around the house and what not, like Saikii explained.

I'm not very good with picking up on how people mean things on the Internet since the Internet lacks both tone of voice and body language. Hell I don't always pick up on the same stuff offline, but at least I have at least one of those things to help me pick up on how people mean things. |
