I don't speak Russian. (YET!) But I don't know how to say 'yet' yet so I can't even say that. *FAIL* I'm using a book to try to learn the language but I'm going sort of slow, its the verbs. I never know what ending goes on which one. My vocabulary is sort of limited to stuff like 'sour cream' and 'english woman' and 'no smoking'. sweatdrop

I have absolutley no Russian ancestry (unfortunately) but I love the language, it just SOUNDS awesome and the Cyrillic alphabet is amazing. I also like the history of the country because it just isn't as... typical? I guess as other countries. A country both Napoleon and Hitler couldn't handle is worth noting.

Hi smile I really like fantasy literature from russia. I think that it have so much new and fresh look magic. When I read it I always feel suprised of some events in book smile . I really like russians authors smile

Well, I'm going to Ukraine next month to visit my remaining family there, its gonna be tough... cuz I'm starting to forget... but anyway I'm coming back with a crap load of Pushkin.. maybe you can suggest some authors?

I own Преступление и наказание (In English that's 'Crime and Punishment.') by Фёдор Михайлович Достоевский and Война и мир (In English that's 'War and Peace') by Лев Никола́евич Толсто́й. I also own 'Anna Karenina' by Толсто́й. I love Russian literature.
