Artemis continued down the road, scanning each nook and cranny of the desolate area. The area was turning sinister: lights were barely filtering through the row of leafless trees, and the smell of honeysuckle no longer lingered in the unpolluted air.
An owl hoots from a tree, nocturnal yellow eyes staring at Artemis.
"bah, go look at somethin' else!" she shooed the owl away, but had done no success.
Artemis was too confused to notice the change in the atmosphere, and continued deeper down South.

The two had fallen into a silence; the only noise permeating the natural silence being the steady footsteps of the dark elf of the equation. Said girl was staring ahead of herself with confidence, a wide, easy smile on her pink lips. Lucifer flew at her side, flying in a measured wave motion through the air level with Fairlee's eyes. There was nothing extreme about the landscape to point out, no immediate threat to deal with. And so the two of them kept on southward, the wind at their backs and the sun illuminating their path.

Becca kept heading south, her only source of light starting to fade away. She'd have to find a way to keep her candle well lit, and soon. She was already too far down the hill to go back up and get another candle at the Inn. Even with this current predicament, she smiled sincerely. "The snow...Is beautiful." she said, looking at the falling snow.

Rayne looks around. "Hmm. No one here..." she muttered, and carried on south.

"OH MY GAWD." Becca yelled, having to take out her hiking stick just to get up the hill. "Damn the cold! It's weakening me!" she yelled, as she almost made it up. D<
