I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in the Advice place or the Creative Endeavors place...I'm not sure at all...

One of my friend's best friends died of a cancer...I tried to cheer her up...I tried to make her stop crying...I know how it feels...so I just left her alone to cry her head off. I do care, but I don't feel like caring anymore. I wrote a poem, and I just...I don't know...wanted at least someone to look at it. And put it in a place she can't look at...

I understand you say you care about him, but the way you act, I think you couldn't care less.

I'm really sorry to hear that... great poem though... I can feel the strength and emotion in it. *Gives you a hug*

Actually not too long ago I wrote a letter to my mother-in-law-to-be that was very angry, and I hid it in my fiance's dresser. Turns out she searched the dresser at one point, found it, and read it and then she wouldn't let me back in the house...

i'm sorry to hear about your friend, and that poem is beautiful. maybe you should just give your friend time by herself... i know myself, when i'm grieving i hate other people trying to sympathise because it sets me off crying again! i'm sure sooner or later your friend will realise just how helpful and supportive you were trying to be
