Down the Stairs...

As You start going down the stairs, the wind picks up more frequently... and the air gains a very slight vibrating quality to it. Not quite like breathing... but something close... a cycling, if you will.

As you continue down the roughly hewn steps, you notice that it hasn't gotten any darker. The wall of rock on your right side has a railing of some sort or another, and on that railing the very same glowing life form seems to be thriving... as if it could feed off of the unearthly stone the rail is made of. While the light may be constant, the dark is deeper... and more than once has the urge struck you to go back.

What do you do?

Quickly reclimb the steps,
or
Continue downwards,
