I'm going to be a loser and put one of the animes that actually did an alright job; Inuyasha.
Kagome is aggrivating and I miss Inuyasha's dog-like-voice[the dub one is sexy, you have to admit]and what sounds good in Japanese is like crap in English, but at least one can watch it without attacking the TV and sobbing hysterically so your parents[or whoever]consider excersizing[spXD?]you. Plus they didn't edit out the language and violence and homosexuals.

I listened to one minute of the dubbed Fruits Basket and threw a fit.
Same for Naruto.
Thank God I watched some Sailor Moon in Japanese x]
And loads more[too painful to think about]

I think 4Kidz! is possibly tone deaf...or mentally challenged. Probably both.

the 4kids people are the ones who make all the dubs horrible! like tokyo mew mew and then they changed it to something stupid like "mew mew power!" i mean come on they're wrecking japanese goodness! XD and the same with magical Doremi! they cut out the other characters and then they canceled the show! its a total rip off and they are giving us crap that they call wonderful english anime!

and for the pokemon people...... yeah ash's new voice is weird! i liked the origanal person the new one sounds like he's smoked.....a lot

and sailor moon sucks too i hope when they dub oruan high school host club it will be so much better! and it better not be dubbed by the stupid 4kids tv people!

You know, I haven't really watched alot of these anime series that you guys've been talking about, though I have heard that DBZ was raped when it was brought over. I DO however know the horrors of the Sailormoon butcher though- been watching it since I was in junior high. I thought it was corny but still kept with it then finally got the undubbed DVDs which are SO much better. I could rant on and on about it but I won't. Strange though, this thread's making me want to go find and watch CCS (saw only a couple episodes of the dub).
