I don't have any problem with gays,lesbians,bisexuals, or combinations of any of those titles. People are people. However, I think the reason every is so hyped up on them, and think it is so weird/wrong/sinful/etc. is exactly because they don't understand it. We have been taught in many different ways that love was black and white, man and woman. Love is between a man and woman that's how it has been expressed to us as children, and as a society as a whole. I think that our society has been so used to that idea, that when they think of the same sexes coming together in marriage, love, etc. they panic. They think its throwing off some kind of balance. That isn't the case however. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong. I will admit that sometimes it feels a little weird to me when I see a same sex couple together, but usually I don't mind. Love cannot be defined, it is in a different perspective from one person to another. (I could go on about this for hours xD) People should stop being so judgemental because of something that isn't as terrible as they think it is. Accept love for what it is.

I agree with you on this, Have you ever read a book called "My Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn. Or The Story of B. That book has changed my view so much on religion, and the world around us. You should look into it. Because the Bible, is a fictional book built upon stories filled in by others that portrayed moral values. Which the Bible does hold a lot of good morals, but c'mon Adam, Eve, and a Serpent ruining everything for us because of eating from a garden?.. not very convincing. Sounds like more of a fable to me. The world is corrupted because we make it corrupt, we put ourselves in a limbo between having intelligence and wanting to be like the gods, and the animals that we see as not-very intelligent, and lowest of divine. Gays are just another evolutional process that our people has undergone, and there is nothing wrong with it. Things don't come into existence by failing, they come into existence by succeeding. biggrin Tagga Ahem, already posted my answer in another thread, but: No separation between Church and State. Gays are ok, and if god really exists, you know the saying: "With absolute power comes absolute corruption.". The Bible is a fiction book, no proof any of the events actually happens. When I see some proof, I will haplessly believe.

To me, gays are just like everyone else. I'm not saying I'm gay but I think gays aren't given a second chance to talk about their feelings. Sometimes, gays aren't the "Ooooo...lets, like, have sex" No, sometimes it just means that they're interested in the same sex. All I think is that gays can choose the way they want.

All religious beliefs aside, just look at the media and pop culture. From an early age it's beaten into our skulls repeatedly that things can only be one way. A man MUST love a woman and that's the way that things must be because that's what's right. People see two people of the same sex together and because of this the feel like it's wrong even if they can't exactly explain why. All that plus the fact that most religions condemn them to hell for no reason make it very difficult to be an LGBT person in today's society.
