Chinesepod.com is the best I have encountered so far. They have various lessons you can listen too and the audip if free. If you want more indepth studies you can pay to use the site. If not, just download the audio to any player you have (I subscribe through iTunes, automatically updates for me).

Well... China has tons of different provinces with different dialects. The most common and widely spoke one is Mandarin (I'm fluent), but the other dialect that's quickly becoming very common too is Cantonese (I'm not fluent). Umm... I also know a little of the other dialect Ming-nan-yu, which is also known as Taiwanese or Tai-yu. Other than those, I can also help a little in Japanese - in its common dialect as well.

But if you need any translations from English to Mandarin or vice versa, I can help be of help. biggrin

wei ni how ma?

(That's all I know! I don't even think I spelled it right.)

Ni Mamer sher dashuay shung.

(Again, I know that's how it's pronounced, but I'm not sure if I spelled it right. Translation? Your mom goes to college.)

That's okay. I'm sure people still get the point. ^_^

Um... well, the second one is a little grammatically off, but if it's a statement, it's more so: Ni mama shung da xue. Or something to that effect. Lol.
