I can't stand pain, and when I am hurt, I either complain a lot, or act like it's no big deal.
I cannot stand shots though. I'm usually tearing up by the time I go into the office.

I used to be that way. Then I started Aikido. Aikido has a reputation for being completely painless, but it actually hurts like hell. But, by the time I started doing the more painful techniques, I stopped caring about pain.

I like it! It's very expressive, and the whole idea is portrayed very nicely...colorful, per se. Also it sounds very natural, not like you took the words out of the mouth of a robot.
