I would love to learn Maori. I think it has a beautiful and unique sound.
Of course, I still don't speak the last three languages I've tried to learn very well. sweatdrop
But anyway, am I right that it's pronounced May-or-ee and not Mow-ry? Or is it the other way around? You don't hear it said all that often in the States. redface

Its said Mow-ree. Its hard. An easy was to rememer is mouldy bread. Mouldy sounds like Moari. biggrin I would be happy to tell you a few thing and how to say them, like
Hello, thank you, good bye = Kia Ora -key or a Good bye, = Hereara -Hi there ra.
