theres a skool trip in april to coasta rica and i just wanted to hear about it. so people whove been there, lived there, from there, just talk about it.

beautiful weather year round, and with its wide range of elevations, it's host to more varieties of orchids than any other country. Not that you'll get a chance to hunt the jungle for them on a school trip. Nonetheless, you should definantly look forward to it.
OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to Costa Rica, and I have been looking and looking for someone else who has!!!!! Cool!!!!! I had so much fun on my trip! Here are some things I noticed:
1. They serve black beans and rice with practically EVERY meal. 2. Some really nasty bathrooms burning_eyes , but not all of them. 3. The tropical rainforests (the ones I saw, at least) weren't as great as I hoped they would be. 4. It usually rains in the afternoons. 5. Driving rules (or lack thereof lol )! You can just park on the side of the road and no one cares. You can also pass people on the road. 6. Mostly dirt roads. (Whatever you do, DO NOT drive to Peninsula De Osa! Take a plane. They have a runway [ok, a big grassy field, but that's what it's for].) 7. Animals! Esp. in the parks (like, national parks and stuff) 8. If you think you hear dinosaurs in the distance, don't be afraid lol . It's howler monkeys! The same goes if you think you hear a wounded seal close up. 9. Milkshake-type things at most restaurants.
