I'm guessing you know Quenya. I think it's the prettier of the two (main) elven languages from the Lord of the Rings.
It seems so much smoother than Sindarin. I speek neither. xD~
But I've tried to learn them. Then came highschool. =x

I once printed a quenya course.

I tried to learn Sindarin once...but I became preoccupied and had to drop it. However for those who wish to learn Quenya or Sindarin, the website "The Council of Elrond" teaches both, and quite well actually.

Technically the Tolkien dialect is derived from an ancient form of Gaelic (Irish), and Old Scottish. The runes were teh language of the druids used to summon ancient spirits of power and nature.

Thanks for the link LaurelinRe. I've been meaning to find a website to help teach me elven but haven't actually had the time.

I don't know any, but I always thought it would be fun to learn. I used to know a few phrases, and I could say my name in elvish. It has another name, Q something. I don't know. They actually offer it as a language class at some colleges now.

I should learn it just for the heck of it. =3
