My mom is taking me to get my lip done, but I've heard eyebrow piercings surface after like, two or three years like corset piercings, and leave these nasty hideous scars.

And I just don't think they're all that hot.

Just wait until you're old enough to get it done, I guess.

I've got my eyebrow peirced so I think you should know some things..

One, DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF!
There is a major vein running through your eyebrow and if you hit it trying to do a home peircing you're screwed.
As a side note to this, eyebrows bleed like little ******** also really hurts.
I've had a couple things peirced and it was by far the worst one, worse even than getting my tattoo (although I don't personally think tattoos hurt much anyway).

And yes, they do get infected, but just in the actual peircing hole, not your eye or anything else.
They're also quite easy to lose, if the peircer who does it gets it even a little wrong your body may reject it and it'll pop out of your eyebrow within a few months.

However, if you survive all this, once it's healed it's really nice to have and I'm glad I had it done.
Although watch out for dodgy eyebrow bars cause I bought one a few months ago and it turned my eyebrow slightly green. O.o

They can also get caught on clothing and pillows, and you can't take them out for more than a few hours cause they heal up like bitches. -.-

So there's a lot of thought involved, and if you value the relationship you have with your mom you should listen to her...... But I'll end by saying that IT LOOKS HELLA COOL! cool

Okay so I wanted to get my eyeborw pierced. And she said no. I am really pissed because I wanted to get it done. What should I do?

Ask her why not and convince her you'd be better off with. 3nodding

I fully suport getting your face pierced!! I want to get my nose and my lip done so i have absolutely no prob with it. well i always get wat i want. i just give my parents the evils evil for a few days and act copletely horrible to everything in the world until i get my way. works every time. the biggest fight that iv had was over the colour of my room cause i wanted to paint it dark blue and they thought it was to dark. after about 3 weeks of my evilness they gave in. (i had to sit through several lectures and stuff but it worked and was worth it). thats just my method though...if you want to try it then go nuts and if it works then thats great but i be careful cause i dont know what your parents are like so it could work or it could backfire. well thats what i do anyway....

Now, wait till you are 18-20. What if the person messes it up? Then what. You have a horrible looking thing stuck to your face and your mom grounds you for life. Wait till your old enough to make your own choices. You are not old enough to get it, and listen to your mother she only tries to do what's best for you.
