I was wondering if any one here knew the literal translation of one of my favorite songs. The name of the song is Mann gegen mann by rammstein.
Here are the lyrics:

here we go, I'll have a try, I'm not a native speaker but I've been learning german for 6 1/2 years. I love rammstein by the way, but Mein Teil freaks me out cos I know what it's saying.

there you go... some of the more iffy lines with (?) could well be colloquialisms or proverbs that I don't know...

It's actually a pretty alright song (when you add all the music and whatnot).. it's gotta be in my top 3 off its album (it is off Mutter, yes?). I heart Rammstein, translating their songs for myself is the perfect way to learn more German vocab.

Ok, I'll try to fill in the lines Areliana was not sure about. But she did a really good job.

Ok, even my friend and I did not find a good translation for that, but we think it means he has got an erection... but in much nicer words.
Actually "bemannt" is a word that is used for vehicles... you can have "bemannte" ships...

"Cold tongues hit" Probably he means nasty words of cold hate against him?

BTW It is spelled "Schwuler", but the translation was totally correct.

I hope I could help a litte, actually there was not much to do after such a good translation.
And if you feel confused... don't worry. Even for native speakers those texts are hard to understand at some lines^^

Explaination: "Wenn ein Weib sich an mir verirrt" describes what would happen if a female person would fall in love with him.
