I think gaining Batman's fitness level would be extremely difficult, unless you cheated like a certain patriotic superhero Captain America, but it would be possible. ignore Barry Bonds, he cheated too.

It seems highly unlikely, IMO. Not only do you have to be in top physical shape and keep that mindset forever, you also have to have all the gadgets and whatnot.
Let's not forget keeping your identity a secret. xp

Nice thought, but everyone would break on such a task, being all time available and so on. It's more likely to share the same fate like Iron Man...

Well, to be honest, there could be someone out there that has the money to, well be "Batman" or a superhero, but who really would. I don't think someone with that much money would really go out of their way to do that for the "greater good". Someone with that much money would of either have been raised to work with their company, or so caught up in the business that they can't really see themselves in being the "hero" for the average person. And with the way politics and business, I don't think that someone would actually would be Batman. If anything, it would turn out like Iron Man.

It would be near impossible to be available 24/7 and be able to change into a heavy armored bat suit before arriving to the crime without anyone noticing.

The human "super" heroes such as Batman, Hawkeye, and Green Arrow are the mostlikely, with Batman being the hardest to be, and Green Arrow the easiest. All this comes from a Profesional Nerd

azrael the reaper okay, so I saw this article and was rather interested. In it, it discusses the likelihood that someone could actually build the mental and physical shape to be really batman. I want to hear your ideas on the matter. (and please take a look at the article) That's what has made Batman so popular. He's a regular human that has just trained to be the best he can be. He's not like superman who was born with powers. Batman had to make his own.

Batman had to make his own. i actualy think the punisher could be a bit easier to achieve. becuase he goes through a lot of s**t beucase he has nothing to lose. he was trained in vietnam or some war(sorry i havnt read the comics) worked for the cia and then had his family killed and almost killed himself. and he decided that the bad people of the world needed to be stoped and the police werent the right men/wemon for the job

And, now the Punisher's a psychopathic murderer. In the nineties, however, he had cleverly planned murders. Like in the movie just slightly recently.

No. Batman's a character thats why he's able to do so much.
The likelyhood of someone being a millionare who's in top physical shape, maintains a healthy social life during the day while moon-lighting as fighter of justice, while maintainging a healthy mental capacity and not go mad is HIGHLY UNLIKLY to near IMPOSSIBLE.
Again athough compared to many other characters he is absolutly more human but he's still a made up character.
